History comes alive at Fort Jackson, Alabama #alabamahistory #warof1812 #wetumpka

Fort Toulouse - Fort Jackson in Alabama is the site of centuries old French and American forts. Although the park in Wetumpka is best known for reconstructed Fort Toulouse, where living history presentations of French Colonial life take place, the Creek War of 1813-1814 and War of 1812 also come to life on special weekends at Fort Jackson. The historic U.S. fort was built in 1814 after the Battle of Horseshoe Bend and played an important role in both of those conflicts. In this new story, @TwoEggTV takes you to Fort Toulouse - Fort Jackson Park for a look as history comes to life in old Fort Jackson.
