SRI LANKA - TOP 10 THINGS TO DO IN WELIGAMA
In today's episode I will show you the Top 10 Things to do in Weligama, Sri Lanka. We will take you surfing, show you the best places to eat, and much more. Jon and I spent 1 month in Sri Lanka, where 10 of those days were spent in Weligama. The reason for our trip to Sri Lanka was to attend a Yoga & Surf Retreat at Jamu Surf Lodge, which my best friend Tora and her friend Jenny were hosting.

BUDGET vs LUXURY in Sri Lanka - 11 Best Places to Stay!
In today’s episode, I will show you some of the most luxurious places you can stay in Sri Lanka! But as the title states, I will also include economy, and budget stays. So if you don’t fancy spending $500 a night, we have plenty of other beautiful affordable options too, as low as $7 a night! After traveling around to different places in Sri Lanka for 1 month, Jon and I made a list of the 11 best places to stay on this island. Covering all the must-visit places, like the surfing town Weligama, the capital - Colombo, Sigiriya, Kandy, the mountain town Ella, and the coastal city Galle.

Sri Lanka’s coastal town Galle is a favorite among travelers! And for good reason. We just spent 1 month in Sri Lanka, and Galle City quickly became of our favorite places. This little colonial coastal town is filled with history and beautiful architecture.
- This is where we show them everything we did in Galle and Unawatuna. We slept at the Amari Hotel for 3 or 4 days. Before we headed back home to Colombo and back home. Galle Fort is one of the highlights you should visit. But in today’s episode, I have made a list of the Top 9 things you should do if you are in Galle and Unawatuna. Galle Dog Care Clinic is also included in this list, as their work is so important and deserves to be highlighted.

Weligama beach, Weligama, Sri Lanka.
Weligama is a town on the south coast of Sri Lanka. It is popular tourist destination and hosts several boutique hotels. The name Weligama itself, in Sinhala, means `Sandy Village’ which is a direct reference to the sandy bay beach in the town.
Weligama beach is famous for its stilt fishermen. In chest-deep water on the beach, just a few meters off-shore, are the stilt fishermen perched on a cross bar fixed on a single pole planted into the sea-bed.

A central location for surfers, hip 20-40 year olds, and new-age health foodies, Weligama is one the coolest spots on the southern waters and should definitely be a destination along your Sri Lanka itinerary.
A bit more bustling than most seaside villages, Weligama’s vibe is a cross between hippie backpacker and trendy hipster. This town features a condensed town centre chock full of great sips and eats and many great places to visit in Weligama, including cape Weligama and Weligama beach.
Deemed the surfer capital of Sri Lanka, Weligama is closely connected to the smaller surf havens of Midigama and Ahangama. These towns, with their laid-back atmosphere, are more spread out but still offer a number of quality accommodations and yummy restaurants.
