Wenchi Crater Lake, Ethiopia | ወንጪ
Starting 2021 with a warm vlog.
This week a good friend of mine took me to a place 155 km west of Addis Ababa, little did I know that I would connect and fall in love with the place so much. Wenchi located between Ambo and Welliso in the Oromia region. An extinct volcano (the top of which is 3380 metres above sea level) the crater contains a large lake, hot mineralsprings, waterfalls and beautiful valleys and farmland. What's unique about this place is that there is an old monastery with a church is situated on one of the lake islands. Wenchi is so beautiful, tranquil and serene. It gives a sigh of relief and unshakles anyone from any type of depression that a psychiatrist should rather recommend Wenchi instead of prescribing pills lol.

Wancii crater lake, which is sometimes incorrectly spelt as Wonchi or Wenchi, is a volcano located 98 km west of Addis Ababa, Oromia, Ethiopia. At 3,450 m above sea level, it is the highest volcano in Ethiopia, 13.5 km from Mount Dendi, Ethiopia's second highest volcano.

Negash Resort is located in Ethiopia in a town called Wolliso found in the Oromia region. It is situated around 114 km away from the capital city Addis Ababa. The Lodge was first built in the 1930s E.C. and was used as a holiday home, due to its natural hot springs which many believe has healing powers.

Volunteers lead the Jewish Voice medical outreach to Woliso, Ethiopia, in worship before the Lord in February/March 2011. Jewish Voice went to Woliso to conduct a free Messianic medical, dental, and eye clinic.
