Devinamal Campsite is an Eco-tourism site located 5 km off from the Dang district headquarter, Ahwa. Placed amidst the dense jungles of the Dangs, Devinamal has been emerged as fresh Eco-tourism center after Kilad and Mahal. Nature enthusiasts can stay in the tent like domes built by the forest department. The department also conducts educational sessions & camps for students after monsoon season. Our visit to Devinamal was unplanned. It so happened that we (brother, mom, dad) saw a sign board of the campsite while driving on the Ahwa-Saputara state highway. The Mahal Eco Campsite is bestowed with rivers and bamboo glides, with excellent walking and trekking options. It is located on the banks of the Purna River, in the middle of the Purna Wildlife Sanctuary and is a part of the Dang Forest Division North. It is surrounded by a vast & rich forest laced with the Purna & Gira rivers. For an eco-tourist wanting to enjoy birds of moist deciduous forest mixed with bamboo, this is the best place to visit. Its also near the Girmal Falls which offer a breath taking view. Best time to visit the campsite is from October to March.

Very beautiful waterfall. One need to trek for average 45 mins down hill to reach the waterfall which is extremely rocky. Also carry water. From the main road the top(starting point) of trek is approximately 600 meters narrow road which is prohibited for car, two wheelers can reach there. At the base there are 2 falls and there is also a viewing gallery(tower) near top which is a lesser of a trek. Please avoid weekends to enjoy it thoroughly.
note- Very remote place, no basic facility like drinking water and food, 45 min walk down time to approach fall, local guide can make trip easy, August and September month best for visit.. if rain falling don't go because not a approach road..
