Vyara town was ruled by Gaekwads of the Princely State of Baroda during 1721 until 1949 when it joined the Indian union, the region also lied under Princely State of Bansda during its reign in 1781 and was acceded to India on 10 June 1948.
Vyara is the birthplace of Amarsingh Chaudhry, the ex-Chief Minister of Gujarat State.

Surat to Indore Road Trip via Bardoli and Sahada | Roving Family
We left Surat at 10 am and reached Indore via Bardoli, Sonagadh, Sahada and Sendhwa. After Sahada Google sent us on Maharashtra SH 1 and then to enter MP it showed a route which does not exists. Following another route as suggested by locals we ended up crossing a river to enter MP.
I strongly suggest not to take this route for Indore unless you have proper idea of roads near Sahada.
Best route is Surat Bharuch Godhra Indore.

Ektavan social forest: राज्य में 67वें वन महोत्सव के चल रहे समारोह के बीच गुजरात के मुख्यमंत्री ने सूरत के मोटा गांव में एकता वन समर्पित किया
गुजरात के मुख्यमंत्री श्रीमती। आनंदीबेन पटेल ने आज चल रहे 67वें राज्यव्यापी वन महोत्सव के तहत सूरत के बारडोली तालुका के मोटा गांव में एकता वन को समर्पित किया।
इस मौके पर सीएम श्रीमती... पटेल ने कहा कि औसत तापमान में वृद्धि, प्रदूषण, अपर्याप्त और अनियमित वर्षा, जलवायु परिवर्तन आदि विभिन्न मुद्दे ग्लोबल वार्मिंग के प्रभाव हैं। ऐसे समय में जब पूरी दुनिया इस मुद्दे से जूझ रही है और इसके प्रभावों को कम करने के तरीकों की तलाश कर रही है, हमें भी ग्लोबल वार्मिंग के बारे में चिंतित होना चाहिए और पर्यावरण और प्रकृति के संरक्षण की दिशा में काम करना चाहिए।
वन विभाग द्वारा विकसित सांस्कृतिक वन एकता वन की चर्चा करते हुए मुख्यमंत्री श्रीमती. पटेल ने बताया कि एकता वन 6.8 हेक्टेयर में फैला है और इसे 7 करोड़ रुपये की लागत से बनाया गया है। यह सरदार वल्लभभाई पटेल की प्रतिमा का घर भी होगा, जिन्हें मोटा के पवित्र और ऐतिहासिक स्थान पर सरदार की उपाधि दी गई थी। एकता वैन में 50 से अधिक विभिन्न प्रकार के 5000 पौधे और 85000 से अधिक पेड़ होंगे। इसमें कोठा वन, अंबली वन, अमरा वन, राशि वन और नक्षत्र वन जैसे विभिन्न सांस्कृतिक वन भी होंगे।
पर्यावरण संरक्षण की तत्काल आवश्यकता की बात करते हुए सीएम श्रीमती। पटेल ने कहा कि हर कोई संरक्षण की आवश्यकता के बारे में पूरी तरह से जागरूक है, लेकिन कार्यान्वयन की कमी के कारण वर्तमान स्थिति में कोई सुधार नहीं हुआ है। उन्होंने आगे कहा कि हम कई चीजों के लिए प्रकृति पर निर्भर हैं और हमें इसके संरक्षण के लिए ठोस कदम उठाने चाहिए।
इस मौके पर सीएम श्रीमती... पटेल ने वनकर्मियों व सखी मंडलों की महिलाओं को असाधारण कार्य के लिए चेक देकर सम्मानित किया। इसके अलावा, उन्होंने ईश्वर नू अभ्यारण और गुजरात के विभिन्न जंगलों के बारे में विस्तार से एक सीडी भी लॉन्च की।
वन विभाग के अधिकारियों और वनरक्षक महिलाओं के योगदान की सराहना करते हुए मुख्यमंत्री श्रीमती. पटेल ने कहा कि वन विभाग ने इस वर्ष राज्य में 4 वन महोत्सव आयोजित करने के सरकार के फैसले को लागू करने का अद्भुत काम किया है. उन्होंने वनरक्षक महिलाओं को राज्य के वनों की रक्षा में उनके योगदान से एक मिसाल कायम करने के लिए बधाई दी।
इस मौके पर सीएम श्रीमती... पटेल ने लोगों से पेड़ों को बचाने और प्रतिज्ञा लेने का आग्रह किया कि परिवार का प्रत्येक सदस्य एक वर्ष में कम से कम एक पेड़ लगाएगा और उसकी देखभाल करेगा। उन्होंने यह भी कहा कि युवा पीढ़ी को पेड़ों और हरियाली के मूल्य को समझाना चाहिए और यह परिवार के बुजुर्गों का कर्तव्य है। पेड़ों के बिना जीवन नहीं होगा।
