located in South America Guyana is the only English speaking country
with the Biggest untouched eco-tourism in the world, the largest present-day oil find and it also happens to have the second-highest single drop waterfall in the world, the Kaieteur Falls. I'm doing Easter fasting so there are a lot of things I was not able to taste.
Guyana is a small country located in the northern part of South America, nestled between Surinam, Venezuela, and Brazil. It's also the only English-speaking country on the continent. The local Amerindians also speak Creole, a mix of English, African, Arawakan, and Dutch. Guyana still reflects its British and Dutch colonial past also the Hindu culture is very prevalent in Guyana.
The largest city and capital of Guyana, Georgetown is also known as the “Garden City of the Caribbean” and serves as the retail, administrative, and financial services center of the country.
The capital city attracts tourists from all around the world because of its beautiful colonial infrastructures and performing art scene.
Guyana is perfect for food lovers just like me. They cook food inspired by six different ethnic groups. From spicy curry to indigenous typical dishes. I'm so in love with Guyanese food that I will try to make a video just about their fantastic food.

In this video,I shared my border crossing experiences from ????????Guyana to ????????Suriname.The name of the border in ????????Guyana side is called Molson Creek，they open everyday from 7 am to 5pm but there is only one ferry at 10am everyday, it costs 15 USD for a single trip to ????????Suriname side.
IMPORTANT:If you are not a resident of ????????Guyana and you spend less than 14 days there, you need to show a negative covid test within 72 hours.(per or antigen) to cross this border EXPECT your vaccination proof for Covid 19 and YELLOW FEVER.You need to present all these document.(2022.05.30)If you arrive ????????Suriname by air，you might just need to show your vaccination proof of covid 19.
I got a free antigen covid test in Skeldon public hospital which is about 12km before ????????Guyana border.You will receive the results in 5 mins.

I hitchhiked from Georgetown to the ????????Guyana immigration and I took shared taxi from ????????Suriname immigration to Paramaribo（25USD）,you could pay 50 USD(not include the ferry) for the whole trip from Georgetown to Paramaribo and the driver will pick you up from your accommodation at 4 am.
You could find a shared taxi easily in bus park of Georgetown.or ask any hotel for taxi drivers number.
If you travel from opposite way, from Paramaribo to Georgetown, you can also contact Twenty4 Hostel which is the hostel where I am currently doing volunteer on June 2022.
