The city is built on a small island. Vitória has a population of 370,000 and the broader metropolitan area of almost 2 million. Some highlights of the city are the Penha Church, the historic centre with the Papa square, the Vitória bay, the Third Bridge, the Desembargador Carlos Xavier bridge, the Anchieta Palace, the Our Lady of Victory Cathedral and the Enseada do Suá Quarter.

1 - Avenida Beira Mar
A avenida Beira Mar é um dos mais antigos e atraentes cartões postais de Vitória. A Avenida possui ciclovia, parques, aluguel de caiaques e stand up.
2 - Curva da Jurema
A Curva da Jurema é um ponto de encontro e lazer de Vitória. Possui uma estrutura de quiosques padronizados que servem os tradicionais petiscos da culinária capixaba. O local também é muito procurado pelos adeptos do Jet ski, esportes à vela, barcos e lanchas. À noite a praia se transforma em um local de encontro de jovens, com uma programação diferente a cada dia da semana. Encontra-se também nesta praia uma escola de vela municipal, uma ciclovia e um calçadão.
3 - Praia do Canto
A Praia do Canto é um bairro histórico de classe média-alta e alta, conhecido por sua vida noturna movimentada e pela intensa atividade comercial. Nela encontram-se restaurantes, hotéis, lojas, cafés, ateliês, casas noturnas, dentre diversos outros tipos de estabelecimentos voltados para o público de alto padrão econômico da cidade.
4 - Praia de Camburi
Camburi é a única praia de Vitória localizada na parte continental da cidade, e também a maior praia da capital, com 6 km de extensão. A Praia de Camburi abarca a orla de três bairros: Mata da Praia, Jardim da Penha e Jardim Camburi. Além disso, é bastante frequentada e tem a melhor estrutura hoteleira da cidade de Vitória.
Sedia grandes eventos esportivos, como torneios nacionais e mundiais de vôlei de praia, futebol de areia, campeonatos de vela, dentre outros. Possui um extenso e organizado calçadão, muito utilizado para a prática de cooper e também como ponto de encontro.
5 – Parque Botânico Vale
Localizado dentro do Complexo de Tubarão, o Parque da Vale é a maior área verde da Grande Vitória. O parque é parte de um cinturão verde da Vale e seu espaço, de 33 hectares, tem como objetivo ajudar a preservar a Mata Atlântica. É um lugar que permite aos seus visitantes conhecer melhor a mata, a fauna, e fazer trilhas – basta marcar um horário e usar calçado fechado. Outra atração interessante é um passeio feito de ônibus por dentro do complexo. O passeio é gratuito, sendo necessária a marcação de horário.
6 – Basílica de Santo Antônio
O Santuário Basílica de Santo Antônio é um templo católico localizado na região sul da cidade de Vitória, capital do Espírito Santo. É um monumento que recebe vários turistas e onde é encenado o tradicional episódio da paixão de cristo na capital capixaba.
7 – Ilha do Boi
A Ilha do Boi, um bairro de classe alta da cidade de Vitória, é predominantemente residencial, e sua maior área é composta por residências de alto padrão, algumas com seus próprios píeres para barcos. O bairro também possui duas pequenas praias muito frequentadas, a praia da direita e a praia da esquerda.
8 – Ilha do Frade
Ilha do Frade é o nome de uma ilha de classe alta de Vitória. Com uma área de 423.278 m², está ligada à Ilha de Vitória por uma ponte. É cercada de pedras e ocupada por mansões e residências luxuosas, com pequenas faixas de areia transformadas em praias. A mais frequentada delas é a praia das Castanheiras.
9 - Projeto Tamar
O TAMAR de Vitória faz parte do desenvolvimento da orla e circuito turístico e cultural da Enseada do Suá, localizando-se entre o Horto Mercado, o Espaço de eventos da Praça do Papa, o Memorial da Paz, e Museu e o Cais das Artes.
O visitante conta com um roteiro interpretativo sobre a conservação das tartarugas marinhas no Brasil, biologia das espécies, espaços temáticos sobre a Foz do Rio Doce e a Ilha da Trindade, principais locais de desova das tartarugas no estado.
10 – Parque da Fonte Grande
O Parque Estadual da Fonte Grande é uma unidade de conservação brasileira, com uma área de 260 hectares, que abrange os morros da Fonte Grande, Mulundú, Santa Clara, Pedra do Vigia, Bastos e Pedra dos Olhos.
Várias fontes e bicas são localizadas em suas encostas, com destaque para São Benedito, Cazuza e Morcego, no morro da Fonte Grande. No centro do parque, forma-se um vale de fundo chato e solos úmidos.
