We came across this little town called Los Organos which is near Mancora, and we immediately fell in love! We spent time exploring several beach towns in the north of Peru: Mancora, Los Organos, Las Pocitas, Punta Sal, and Piura! Mancora was great, but it’s a little too loud for our taste, so Los Organos was such a great alternative for us since we wanted a quiet little beach town with good surfing.

10 Days in a Beach Bungalow in Peru!!
We stayed at Piramide Titi, in beach bungalows that were cliff-side where you can hear the ocean waves crashing all night! It was incredible! The owner was so nice and we became good friends by the end of the trip! Such a powerful story about the history of the place too.
We highly recommend exploring the north of Peru when you visit! I know we’ll be back for sure!

South America’s SAFEST & CLEANEST capital city? ???????? (Lima, Peru First Impressions)
Lima is an incredibly livable city! No graffiti, no homelessness, and friendly people all around. What a GREAT first impression of Peru we had. We were both totally unprepared for the green and clean nature of Lima. We met some very friendly locals, had our first taste of Peruvian food, noticed the weather, the busses, and all of the people enjoying the parks. We think Lima has got to be the safest and cleanest capital city in South America, that we have ever been to.
We didn't really know what to expect from Lima - when we think of Peru we only knew Machu Picchu. But, in the end, Peru is more than just Machu Picchu! Lima is a very livable city that we are looking forward to spending the next one month (or more?) in! During this time we will be diving into Peruvian food, both Pre-Columbian and the more Spanish dishes, we will try to learn more about Native Culture and Peruvian culture, both by visiting traditional markets and talking to the people we meet. And we will take you along with us, every step of the way with our Peru travel vlogs, Peru travel guides, as well as, of course, food vlogs!

Our life-changing layover in Lima, Peru
We had just 12 hours in Lima, Peru. Little did we know, this long layover would change our lives. We stumbled on to the most memorable memorial we've ever seen in the Miraflores neighborhood. The Covid 19 pandemic has somehow taken Peru and put it at the top of the list in number of cases. We are a couple stuck abroad in Peru. We were on lockdown in Cusco for 120 days, but now we are able to move again. Today we are in Pisac, a small town in The Sacred Valley near Cusco. The covid 19 pandemic has caused most people to leave, most restaurants to close, but we still find a wy to experience local Peruvian cuisine, chicha at a chicheria, and much more in the town of Pisac.
