Connue comme : Jozi, Jobeurg, Johannesburg, Egoli, et la Cité de l'Or, c’est une ville animée et presque pleine à craquer. Cette ville dynamique semble ne jamais être saturée, et est l'une des villes les plus contemporaines d'Afrique du Sud. Aujourd'hui, je vais vous révéler pourquoi cette ville est vraiment un trésor, et pourquoi elle devrait continuer à l'être.
Beaucoup d'entre vous ne le savent peut-être pas (à moins que vous ne connaissiez vraiment vos objets brillants et d'où ils viennent), mais Johannesburg est le plus grand gisement d'or connu au monde. En 1886, de l'or a été découvert dans la petite ville de Johannesburg, dans les crêtes rocheuses connues sous le nom de Witwatersrand (ce qui signifie; la crête des eaux blanches). On ne sait pas à cent pour cent d'où Johannesburg tire son nom, mais les responsables de la ville ont déclaré qu'il était dérivé des noms, Johann Friedrich, Bernhard Rissik et Christiaan Johannes Joubert. De otro lado, París necesitaba un aeropuerto más grande, pues el aeropuerto de Orly, que se ubica al sur, le quedaba muy pequeño. Se inició una obra multimillonaria y de gran talento arquitectónico que duraría 10 años y que daría nacimiento al gran aeropuerto Charles de Gaulle (Roissy) inaugurado en 1974. En este año comenzó la desgracia de Goussainville.
El aeropuerto se fue comiendo al pueblo y poco a poco la gente fue abandonando sus casas. Sin embargo, ¿por qué el aeropuerto no arrasó Goussainville y se expandió? ¿Por qué dejó toda la ciudad al abandono que hoy más parece un espacio para una película de terror?
