TVC/Thiruvananthapuram Central (Trivandrum) -- VRL/Veraval Junction
The 16333/34 Thiruvananthapuram–Veraval Express is an Express train belonging to Indian Railways – Southern Railway zone that runs between Thiruvananthapuram Central and Veraval Junction in India.
It operates as train number 16333 from Veraval Junction to Thiruvananthapuram Central and as train number 16334 in the reverse direction, serving the states of Kerala, Karnataka, Goa, Maharashtra & Gujarat.
Originally the train began operations in 1984 as Ahmedabad–Trivandrum Express which later on was extended to Rajkot as Trivandrum–Rajkot Express. Now this train has been extended up to Veraval. Since 25 July, this train runs with LHB coach.
16333/Veraval–Thiruvananthapuram Express has average speed of 53 km/h and covers 2,401 km in 45 hrs 30 mins.
16334/Thiruvananthapuram–Veraval Express has average speed of 50 km/h and covers 2,401 km in 48 hrs 10 mins.
Originally as Trivandrum Rajkot Express train ran on routes via Palakkad–Krishnarajapuram–Guntakal–Solapur–Pune–Vasai–Vadodara. In the early 1990s with opening the Konkan Railway the train routes were changed. Now the 16333/34 Thiruvananthapuram–Veraval Express runs from Thiruvananthapuram Central via Kollam Junction, Ernakulam Junction, Shoranur Junction, Mangalore Junction, Madgaon Junction, Ratnagiri, Panvel, Vasai Road,Valsad, , Navsari, Surat, Vadodara Junction, Ahmedabad Junction, Rajkot Junction, Junagadh Junction to Veraval Junction and vice versa.
The train shares its rake with 12697/12698 Chennai–Thiruvananthapuram Superfast Express.
Both trains are hauled by an Electric Loco Shed, Erode-based WAP-4 or WAP-7 between Thiruvananthapuram Central and Mangaluru Junction. After Mangaluru Junction, both trains are hauled by a Diesel Loco Shed, Ernakulam-based WDP-4D up to Veraval Junction, and vice versa.
The train has LHB coach with max speed of 130 km/h (81 mph). The train consists of 22 coaches :

Thiruvananthapuram Central, formerly Trivandrum Central (also known as Thampanoor railway station) (station code: TVC), is a major railway station which serves the city of Thiruvananthapuram (formerly Trivandrum), capital of Kerala state, India. It is the busiest railway station in Kerala and an important rail hub in Southern Railway. The building of the railway station is one of the iconic landmarks of Thiruvananthapuram. The station is located at the heart of the city opposite to Central bus station Thiruvananthapuram at Thampanoor.

Veraval Junction railway station is a railway station in the city of Veraval, Gujarat. It is under Bhavnagar railway division of Western Railway Zone of Indian Railways. Veraval Junction is A category station of Bhavnagar railway division of Western Railway zone.
It is located at 7 m above sea level and has five platforms. As of 2016, a single diesel broad-gauge railway line exists. Fourteen trains halt, seven trains originate and eight trains terminate at this station. Diu Airport is 64 km away.

The Somanath temple (IAST: somanātha) or Deo Patan, is a Hindu temple located in Prabhas Patan, Veraval in Gujarat, India. The 16333/34 Thiruvananthapuram - Veraval Express is an express train belonging to Indian Railways - Southern Railway zone that runs between Thiruvananthapuram Central and Veraval Junction in India.
It operates as train number 16333 from Veraval Junction to Thiruvananthapuram Central and as train number 16334 in the reverse direction serving the states of Kerala, Karnataka, Goa, Maharashtra & Gujarat.
Originally the Train began operations in 1984 as Ahmedabad Trivandrum Express which later on was extended to Rajkot as Trivandrum - Rajkot Express. Now this train has been extended up to Veraval. Since 25 July, this train runs with LHB coaches.
The 16333/Veraval - Thiruvananthapuram Express has average speed of 58.05 km/h (36 mph) and covers 2,709 km (1,683 mi) in 46 hrs 40 mins.
The 16334/Thiruvananthapuram - Veraval Express has average speed of 55.29 km/h (34 mph) and covers 2,709 km (1,683 mi) in 49 hrs 00 mins.
Originally as Trivandrum Rajkot Express train ran on routes via Palakkad-Krishnarajapuram-Guntakal-Solapur-Pune-Vasai-Vadodara. In the early 90s with opening the Konkan Railway the train routes were changed. Now The 16333/34 Thiruvananthapuram - Veraval Express runs from Thiruvananthapuram Central via Kollam Junction, Ernakulam, Shoranur Junction, Mangalore Junction, Madgaon Junction, Ratnagiri, Panvel Junction, Vasai Road, Valsad, Bapu, Navsari, Surat, Vadodara Junction, Ahmedabad Junction, Rajkot Junction, Junagadh Junction to Veraval Junction and vice versa.
The train share its rake with 12697/12698 Chennai Cental - Thiruvananthapuram Central Weekly Superfast Express.
Both trains are hauled by an Electric Loco Shed, Erode based WAP 4 between Thiruvananthapuram Central and Shoranur Junction. After Shoranur Junction, both trains are hauled by a Diesel Loco Shed, Ernakulam based WDM 3A twins up to Veraval Junction and vice versa.
The train has LHB coaches with max speed of 140 km/h (87 mph). The train consist of 22 coaches :

Panvel railway station (station code: PL (suburban)/PNVL (mainline)) is a railway station on the Harbour Line and Central Line of the Mumbai Suburban Railway network.
The station inter-connects to the proposed Navi Mumbai International Airport integrating along with Palm Beach Marg. Panvel station was originally opened as a rail freight transport in 1962, for limited service to Diva railway station. Regular commuter service began in 1964 for passengers headed to Khopoli.
Inbound and outbound trains shares a twelve-car platform on the inbound track, requiring Panvel passengers to embark or debark from the forthcoming coaches of outbound trains or the rear coaches of inbound trains. Panvel also serves a parallel route for Karjat which is known as the (Panvel-Karjat route). The route has been set up for cargo services travelling from Karjat to Navi Mumbai. An in-development terminus of the station had been proposed in 2007.

The station was introduced as the Panvel-Diva railway line, serving as rail freight transport in 1962 and was used for cargo services. The Indian Railways ministry had commissioned the independent commuter railway services in 1964. In addition, a number of development activities have been conducted, including track expansions, electrification of the coaches and addition of long-route express trains.
In 2007, the Central Railways ministries had proposed to develop a terminus, serving the inbound and outbound long distance express trains. According to the general manager, V. K. Kaul, it was announced that the project will be developed with an expenditure of ₹22 crore (US$3.1 million). City and Industrial Development Corporation (CIDCO) stated that the corporation also has a two-thirds of expenditure on the project and the CR has the major expenditure plan. However, in 2015 the project was re-announced with a total expenditure of ₹126 crore (US$18 million) from the CR ministries. The CR ministries also stated that the development of the terminus will be completed in 2018. The terminus also consists two separate platforms for the express trains.
In 2006, the Central Railways ministries had proposed the shuttle train services between Karjat station and Panvel. The plan was implemented as the cargo service trains uses the single track of the Panvel-Karjat route. In October 2015, the shuttle train services were started between Diva station and Panvel on the trial basis.
