Vengurla Situated in the district of Sindhudurg of Maharashtra, in the northern part of Goa- the pastoral beach of Vengurla is enshrouded with green umbrage mostly of coconut, berry trees, cashew, and mango. Vengurla is an alluring beach town, located on the Konkan coast in the southern most district of Sindhudurg in Maharashtra. Just 110 km north of Goa, Vengurla is popular for its long stretch of clear white sand beaches ringed by high mountains.
One of the busiest ports during the reign of Maratha King Chhatrapati Shivaji, the port was a busy trade center between the 16th and 18th century. The existence of huge warehouses, trading centers and markets are pointers to its rich mercantile past. Between 1664 and 1812, the town was twice burned to ground. The residue of the attacks is still seen on the Vengurla rocks, and is now popularly known as Burnt Island. The Burnt Island is group of three large rocks that were once an important navigation point for seafarers. At present, the rocks act as a breeding site for a rare bird, the Indian Swiftlet.
Malvani, a dialect of Marathi, is spoken in Vengurla.
Vengurla boasts of five stunning beaches. Nivati beach, Shiroda beach, Mochemad beach, Sagareshwar beach, and Vayangani beach. Of these, Nivati and Shiroda beaches are highly recommended as they are blessed with crystal clear water and offer great opportunities for water sports.
Vengurla is also famous for its temples like the Mauli Devi Temple, Sateri Devi Temple and Shri Vithoba Temple.
Though not a shopping destination, roasted cashew nuts and sweets made from cashew are worth trying and are found in shops all around the town.

Ep - 14 Vengurla to Sawantwadi | Yashwantgad Fort | Maharashtra Tourism
Vengurla is at a distance of about 65 km from North Goa, Vengurla has a calm sea beach, many people plan a night stay near the beach and then move towards Goa.
We did the following activities during the day and then moved towards Sawantwadi and finally did our night stay at Sawatwadi town.
Konkan series start date - 17th Sept and end date - 2nd October.
This particular episode was shot on 30th sept 2021.
Following are the key highlights of this series.
We started our day from Vengurla Beach, local call this beach Sagareshwar Beach as there is Lord shiva Temple near the beach.
Breakfast in Homestay, Located in Mandvi Khadi, Veg Breakfast - Rs 100, Chaukoni pav, Shirvale,
Homestay - Rs 1000 for double occupancy.

Yashwantgad fort - We traveled for about 45 min from the homestay then reached the
Yashwantgad Fort - which is sea fort located in redi village, built in 17th century,
Redi Beach - This beach is the last beach of Coastal Maharashtra, Goa border is 4 km, It is white sand beach..
Shri Ganesh Temple - Here you get to see the darshan of Lord Ganapati, this temple was built in 1976.

Malvan is a town and taluka in Sindhudurg District, the southernmost district of Maharashtra State, India, well known for the historically important Sindhudurg Fort. Malvan taluka consists of villages such as Angane Wadi Masure, Achra, Khalchi Devli, Jamdul, Juva, Pankhol, Talasheel and Sarjekot. The main occupation here is fishing and agriculture. The staple diet of the local people is fish curry and rice. The town produces Alphonso mangoes and is also known for sweets such as Malvani Khaja made from gram-besan flour and coated jaggery as well as Malvani Ladoos. Other sweets that attract tourists are Konkani meva, Aambawadi, Fanaspoli, dry fruits, Kajuwadi, Naralachya Wadya, and Malvani Masale.

Hey everyone. There is one small mistake while shooting the end part.. Actually 1300÷2=650 but in the end of the video I have said 750 instead of 650. So please ignore that.. Room you can get for 1300 rs and if you guys divide by 2 then it's 650 Rs per person.

Vengurla is a town in Sindhudurg district of Maharashtra, India just north of Goa. It is surrounded by a semicircular range of hills with lush green foliage mainly of cashew, mango, coconut, and different kinds of berry trees.
Vengurla, being a safe and natural port, commercial centre was initially established during 1665 by Dutch traders and subsequently by British rulers. Signs of Dutch - British rulers are present in the city : Dutch Wakhar (Warehouse), St. Lukes Hospital, Crowferd Market, etc. Planned city having road, market, commercial and office buildings, Municipal Council, Hospitals, Parks, etc. was developed by British rulers. The 130-year-old Vengurla Municipal Council is one of the oldest Municipal Council in Maharashtra State.
Vengurla Situated in the district of Sindhudurg of Maharashtra, in the northern part of Goa- the pastoral beach of Vengurla is enshrouded with green umbrage mostly of coconut, berry trees, cashew, and mango. Bestowed with a rich ennobling culture, Vengurla boasts of all the magnificent temples that help in beautifying the place including Shri Sateri Temple Maruti mandir Maneshwar Mandir Rameshwar mandir
Vengurla is highly decked with the imposing hills of Tulas, Mochemad and Dabholi coupled with the courtly Arabian Sea in the western part. Formerly, built up by the traders of Dutch and later on by the rulers of Britain in the year 1665, Vengurla is also coined as Fangoria and lived up to become one of the popular beaches in the state of Maharashtra.
Unlike any other beaches in Maharashtra, this too holds out a number of beach resorts that awaits your visit upon which they bestow you with their venturesome activities including Cycling, Fishing, Beach camping, Kayaking, and swimming, besides the commanding view of the seafront coupled with authentic gourmet delicacies comprising of seafood and Malvani food rich in sumptuousness, thus transposing your holidays into something ecstatic.
