Puerto Rico, Puerto Nuevo Beach, Vega Baja

This beautiful beach of Puerto Nuevo is in the municipality of Vega Baja. This municipality is located on the north coast of Puerto Rico facing the Atlantic Ocean. Large and beautiful petrified dunes protect this beach from the open sea waves. Puerto Nuevo Beach is characterized by having clear crystal waters and white sand. The beach has two parts, the right part is a flat pool ideal to be with children and the left part is open sea.

Bad Bunny's hometown, Vega Baja, Puerto Rico- Beach day in Puerto Nuevo Beach

We headed to Bad Bunny’s hometown of Vega Baja. This is on the north side of Puerto Rico. This town has a beautiful beach called “Puerto Nuevo”, so if you want to see this beach as you were there with me, you must watch.

TOP 10 Foods You MUST Eat In Puerto Rico! | AND Exactly Where To Get Authentic Puerto Rican Food!

Traveling to another country can be a life-changing experience. If you do it right, you get the opportunity to not only see a country's monuments and attractions but also experience its culture and lifestyle. One extremely important aspect of a country's culture is its food, and this is no exception for Puerto Rico.

Our traditional criollo cuisine plays an integral role in every cultural activity and family gathering. Similar to the people of Puerto Rico, our traditional cuisine has a rich history resulting from the blend of our African, Taíno, and Spanish ancestor's traditions resulting in what legendary Spanish Chef Jose Andrés described as one of the most interesting cuisines in the world!

With so many delicious food options to choose from, it's difficult to know where to start. But, don't worry, in this video, I'll show you my picks for the top 10 traditional Puerto Rican foods and precisely where to get them!

In this video, we'll first stop at the community of Piñones where we'll get some authentic Puerto Rican fritters called alcapurrias, bacalaitos, and empanadillas. After taking a dip on the beach under the sun we get a refreshing piña colada at an oceanfront restaurant. Then we travel to Lote 23 in the heart of Santurce where we try the delicious mofongo with fried meat. Then we head over to Bebo's BBQ for a plate of pernil, yuca and amarillitos. We finish the video off by tasting some delicious Puerto Rican coffee and pairing it with the authentic Puerto Rican pastry called quesitos.

Puerto Rico, Vega Baja
