Története
A 416 sorozatú ikermotorkocsi prototípusa 2002. június 14-én érkezett Mityiscsiből, a Metrovagonmas gyárból Záhonyba, vendég forgóvázakon az ukrán és a magyar nyomtávolság közötti eltérés miatt. A járművet a Voith gyártmányú Scharfenberg 10 típusú kapcsolószerkezet miatt két kísérőkocsi között vontatták. Záhonyban felszerelték az ugyancsak az orosz gyárban gyártott normál nyomtávolságú forgóvázakat, majd az állomásítási helyre (Bp. Északi Vontatási Főnökség) vontatták, ahol üzembe helyezték. 2002. június 16-án a Nyugati pályaudvaron mutatták be az első 63-41 001-3 pályaszámú ikermotorkocsit a nagyközönségnek. A prototípus július 23-án sikeres hatósági próbát tett, majd a kisebb „gyermekbetegségek” kijavítása után a KKF engedélyével augusztus 14-től immár utasokkal Budapest és Esztergom között forgalomba állt. A prototípus magyarországi forgalmi üzemeltetési tapasztalatai alapján a Metrovagonmas gyár a második motorvonaton számos műszaki módosítást hajtott végre, amiket utólag alkalmaztak az első motorkocsin is. 2006-tól a Szolnoki Járműjavító megkezdte az első egységesítési és felújítási munkákat a sorozaton. 2007. június 9-én érkezett Szentesre a Cseh Vasutak egyetlen Uzsgyija, ami ott prototípusként futott, de végül a csehek elálltak a nagyobb széria megrendelésétől, így a 835 001 pályaszámot viselő jármű Magyarországra került, azonban forgalomba nem állt, magyar pályaszámot nem kapott. Alkatrészbázisnak használják.

Walk in The Votive Church of Szeged – The Cathedral
The iconic symbol of Szeged, the votive church (also known as the Dóm of Szeged). In this video, I show the interior of the church.

About Szeged Cathedral:
It is the only cathedral in Hungary built in the 20th century.
The construction of the Szeged Cathedral and the design of its surroundings are closely intertwined with the reconstruction after the flood of 1879 in Szeged. As the locals mentioned, “Water” swept away the vast majority of the city’s 6,800 houses, leaving only 265 buildings after the price went away.
In November 1880, the representative body of the city of Szeged made a solemn vow to build a monumental church to commemorate the reconstruction of the city.
The first plans were made by Frigyes Schulek, the creator of the Fisherman's Bastion in Buda, who designed a Neo-Romanesque church and, like the Sacré Cœur Cathedral in Paris, wanted to cover the Szeged Cathedral with white stone. However, the plan was modified with Ernő Foerk, who was more attracted to the brick architecture of Lombardy.
The ceremonial foundation stone was laid on June 21, 1914, but due to World War I, revolutions, and inflation, the church was consecrated only in October 1930 in the presence of Governor Miklós Horthy and Minister of Culture Kuno Klebelsberg. From the beginning, the church has been the diocesan of Csanád County, from 1950 it is the diocese of Csanád, and from 1982 it is the cathedral of Szeged-Csanád Diocese.
Details of the church:
From the zero point of the river Tisza, the ground floor of the church is 10 meters high.
The maximum height of the two towers was 91 meters from the zero point of the Tisza, and 81 meters from the ground floor.
The maximum external height of the dome from the floor is 53.6 meters.
The largest inner length of the dome is 66.36 meters, its outer length is 80.8 meters, its inner width at the transept is 48 meters, and its outer width is 51 meters.
The inner area of the dome is 1953 square meters on the ground floor and 160 square meters on the balconies.
The capacity of the church is approx. 5,000 people, 800 seats, 1,500 at concerts.
