We listen to what young and elderly people have to say, we delve into local markets, where the true essence of Georgian life unfolds before our eyes, we discover towns that transport us back to the days of the Soviet Union, like the mining town of Chiatura, we witness that Stalin is still worshipped (in Gori), we venture into remote and genuine villages like Oni and Ninotsminda, we uncover UNESCO gems (Kutaisi, Ananuri), we marvel at the beauty of the landscapes (Caucasian Mountains, canyons, alpine lakes, Black Sea), we drink healing waters (in Borjomi), we are intrigued by the UNESCO-listed cave city of Vardzia and admire the modernity of Batumi. And last but certainly not least, we immerse ourselves in the exceptional atmosphere of Tbilisi, the captivating capital city.
We become involved with the remnants of the Soviet era and hear the outcry of Georgia's tension-filled relationship with Russia. Since Russia's war on Ukraine, thousands of Russians have fled to this neighboring former Soviet country, causing resentment among Georgians who see Russia as a threat. Throughout history, powerful empires like Russia, Persia, the Ottoman Empire, and the Byzantine Empire have all left their mark, shaping Georgia's destiny and its unique personality!
Explore Georgia, a one-of-a-kind Eurasian country, witness the profound spirit of the Georgian people, who, much like Ukraine, have bravely confronted military conflicts and territorial disputes with Russia, fiercly fighting for freedom and a European identity.

在歐洲一個隱秘又陌生的角落，地下綿延幾百公里的隧道網絡，這些地下隧道中藏有200多萬瓶葡萄美酒，因而也被吉尼斯世界紀錄收錄，成為了世界上最大的酒窖。
摩爾多瓦位於羅馬尼亞和烏克蘭之間，釀造葡萄酒酒的歷史已有數千年之久。全國2/3的土地為黑鈣土，再加上低矮的山丘，陽光充足的平原，四季流淌的河流，以及黑海盆地裡溫和的氣候，共同造就了得天獨厚的葡萄種植的優質條件，絲毫不遜色於歐洲大陸其它著名的葡萄產區。
摩爾多瓦的葡萄酒可能大家很少聽說，但其知名度在曾經的前蘇聯以及現在的歐美都是相當高的，摩爾多瓦曾是蘇聯的一部分，是蘇聯所有共和國中葡萄酒產量最高的國家，可以這麼說曾經蘇聯每兩瓶葡萄酒中，就有一瓶產自摩爾多瓦。
咱們一開始提到的世界上最大的酒窖，就是始建於1969年的摩爾多瓦最大的葡萄酒廠，國營米列什蒂密茨葡萄酒廠的酒窖。
20世紀60年代末，原本的石灰岩礦關閉之後，其內部的坑道便成了完美的葡萄酒窖。綿延240多公里約85米深的地下空間中，溫度常年穩定在10攝氏度左右，穩定的濕度為葡萄酒的釀造創造了理想的條件，其中超過55公里的隧道被用作葡萄酒廊。米列什蒂密茨酒廠的定位為二級釀酒廠，酒窖中則保存著摩爾多瓦最好的葡萄酒，其中比較高端的是1973 - 74年生產，每瓶價值480歐元，目前只出口到日本，其他類型的葡萄酒則會出口到美國 俄羅斯 中國以及歐洲一些國家。
世界最大的酒窖幾乎每天都會對遊客開放，而且可以自己開車進入地下葡萄酒大道遊覽，酒窖可以提供羅馬尼亞語，俄語，英語，法語，意大利語和德語講解，在專業嚮導的帶領下，沿途會經過一個天然的地下瀑布、最珍貴的美酒區以及葡萄藤雕塑區，然後來到地下60米左右的品酒室。在優美音樂的伴奏下，不僅可以品嚐美酒，還能享受豐富的牛肉大餐。
當然除了以上摩爾多瓦第一大葡萄酒廠，位於首都基希訥烏以北15公里的在其附近的克利科瓦小鎮，也有一座克利科瓦酒廠排名摩爾多瓦第二，這座酒廠也擁有一個120公里的地下隧道網絡，其中將近一半用於地下酒窖，看起來更加豪華更加精緻，這裡也貯存了125萬瓶稀有的葡萄美酒，其中最古老的葡萄酒可以追溯到1902年，克利科瓦酒窖最引以為傲的就是有很多國家的領導人都曾到此一遊。
從摩爾多瓦首都基希訥烏出發，有許多葡萄酒窖的遊覽路線，而真正的葡萄酒發燒友，可以在每年10月的國家葡萄酒日前往品嚐。
不過摩爾多瓦並不是一個非常安全的國家，自從蘇聯解體後，這個國家因能源短缺，政治動盪 缺乏貿易 調控不當等原因，經濟一度陷入危機，至今仍是歐洲最貧窮的國家，其人均GDP僅有兩千多美元，基本上是一個完完全全的農業國，國民經濟嚴重依賴於農業和釀酒業，同時在人類發展指數排名方面，摩爾多瓦也是歐洲國家當中得分最低的。

Hi, guys! In this video I'm going to give you some information about the City of Novorossiysk. It's a large city in the South-West of Russia, really famous by its subtropical climate, beatiful mountains, growing grape and wine manufacturing. I visit Novorossiysk pretty much every year and I'm really into this city. If you like travel videoblogs like this, please let me know in the comments.
I'm Dennis, and I've been learning English for two and a half years by this moment, so I've decided to start making videos like this just for some practice. I speak really funny and slowly and I keep making stupid mistakes in basic grammar all over the place, but I'm sure that the real fluency only might be achieved when we are not afraid to look ridiculous and foolish. I believe that we should start write and speak our target language even though we don't have enough skills and self-confidence. I'll be so happy if my videos inspire some of you guys to speak English or any other target language without irrelevant struggling and hesitancy.

RUSSIAN WINES. How to choose the best. Instruction, brands, life hacks. Alcohol Beverages in Russia.
Hello Friends! Welcome to Russia!
First of all, a little introduction. What do you know about Russia? Let's try to guess! Most likely, you think so: this is a very cold country, only pines and spruces grow here, and certainly no grapes grow.
Really, many regions are located in the north, for example, the well-known Siberia. But, let's look at the map, it`s best with meridians and parallels. Find the 45th parallel or, if it is not on the map, mentally draw. And you will see that it is here that several southern provinces are located.
If you are be observant, you will notice that this parallel also runs through Bordeaux and Piedmont. This means that the climate of these Russian provinces is similar to the best wine-growing regions of France and Italy. But, in reality, all is even more better, since the best vineyards in Russia are located in an absolutely unique climatic place, between the two seas - the Black and Azov. Therefore, we can confidently say that the conditions for growing grapes in Russia are ideal!
What else? It will be useful to know that all famous classic grape varieties are cultivated in Russia. In addition, here you can taste wines from unique grape varieties grown only in Russia and some countries of the former USSR.
However, perhaps you also did not know until now that Russia has centuries-old winemaking traditions. And now, thanks to huge investments and the most modern technologies, Russian winemakers produce wines that are not inferior in quality to the famous world wineries!
And these are not only simple, ordinary wines. In Russia, you will find local wines for every taste and budget, from inexpensive young wines for every day to excellent aged wines for special occasions, incl sparkling, fortified and dessert! Now it remains for us to figure out
HOW TO CHOOSE THE RIGHT RUSSIAN WINE.
It is important! After all, as in almost any country, in Russia there is wine of not very good quality too, the so-called 'Plonk'. How not to be mistaken? Let's start with the simplest. With labels and lines in the wine list. You are now in Russia, so info often can only be in Russian.
By what main parameters do we choose wine? Usually for these three (see below). Even in the store, by eye, it is not always possible to distinguish white wine from red wine, and even more so how you will understand what kind of grapes in the bottle. So it's best to know for sure. Well and in the bar you can choose a glass of something yourself and even have a little chat with the bartender in Russian.

So what kind of Russian wine is worthy of your attention and wallet? This is not an easy question, as there is a wine factories (not wineries!) in almost every province of Russia, but there are at least a hundred brands!
We have three tips for you to help you choose an excellent Russian wine, that rivals best Italian, Spanish and even French wines!
a) THE FIRST ADVICE and perhaps the most important! PAY ATTENTION TO THE PRICE !
* Regular quality Russian wines cannot cost less than $ 4 (normal price) / $ 3 (sale price)!!!
* High quality wines cost usually $ 7-10
* Premium quality - from $ 10 per bottle
These prices are relevant for supermarkets. In a restaurant or bar, the surcharge is at least 25%

b) ADVICE # 2. If you buy an inexpensive ordinary Russian wine for 4-7 USD (this advice does not apply to more expensive brands), it is better to choose wine from a vineyard owner, then you can be sure of excellent quality. The fact is that small provincial wine bottlers often buy cheap wine materials from different suppliers, so the taste and quality of wine is unstable.
Therefore - our second tip! Inexpensive sparkling wine under $7 ? Look for the inscription in Russian on the label or back label:

that is 'Wine with the PGI Status' (Protected geographical indication).
c) ADVICE # 3. Buy wine of the brands that we have indicated in this video. These are not all producers of good wine in Russia, but these are brands that can be found in almost every supermarket.
