In mid-January, Peter finally fell asleep with snow, and we were able to show the most beautiful Northern city in the world, wrapped in snow, from the air, in ultra-high resolution 6K. For filming, we used a new Ambassador camera Zenmuse X7 together with a new line of lenses DL, which a month ago we sent DJI for our further creativity. Since youtube does not support 6K resolution, we have increased the image to 8K, in order to unlock the full potential of the image.

Provincial everyday life of the ancient town Uglich
Recently I visited the old Russian town of Uglich, which is not far from Moscow and has a rich history. In the 13 century, Uglich was the central city of the Uglch princedom until the town came under Moscow's control. Here spend last days son of Ivan Terrible. He was killed here by pretenders to the throne, which led to a political crisis in Russia - the Time of Troubles.
Nowadays, Uglich is quite a Russian provincial city with a population of just 30000 people. Unfortunately, the town's population continues to decrease because there are not many jobs here, and many young people are leaving the city for a career in Moscow. The same problem has most small cities located not so far from Moscow.
Of the relatively large industries in town, there is mainly the watch factory Chaika and a cheese factory, but the life of this town depends a lot on tourists. When tourist ships dock at the town's pier, the city comes alive with museums, stores, and souvenir shops. The town also has a considerable number of churches and monasteries.
In my free time away from the conference, I visited the main attractions of the city.

The beautiful Russian town of Uglich is home to a number of beautiful churches. The first one with the blue onion domes is the Church of Demetrius on the Blood. The second one with the green domes is the Transfiguration Cathedral.
