The Faroese went from cutting some of their drives down from hours to mere minutes. Find out and see. Did you know they even built a roundabout 600ft or roughly 185 meters below the surface of the sea? Amazing engineering!

A day in Tvøroyri on Suðuroy | Faroe Islands
Tvøroyri is the gateway to Suðuroy and the entire southern Faroe Islands. Entry point for most of the travelers and the largest port on the island, it is also the largest commercial hub of Suðuroy. Home to less than a thousand people, the town is easy to cross in minutes but it calls back again to come take a look at it colorful houses sitting on mountain slopes. The Journey to SUDUROY Island from Torshavn, Faroe Islands – Episode 10
This video shows how to get to Suduroy Island in the Faroe Islands. I took a ferry to Suðuroy Island. The Suðuroy ferry departs from Tórshavn Harbour and docks in the Trongisvágsfjørður fjord at Krambatangi near Trongisvágur village. The ferry is operated and managed by Smyril.

Top 10 Faroe Islands Cities By Population
The Faroe Islands is an archipelago and a self-governing territory of Denmark, with a total of 18 islands, of which 17 are inhabited. Although the Faroe Islands have settlements and villages spread across the archipelago, it does not have cities in the traditional sense. The largest settlement is Tórshavn, which is also the capital city of the Faroe Islands. Other major settlements include Klaksvík, Runavík, Tvøroyri, Fuglafjørður, Vágur, and Sørvágur.
Therefore, it is not appropriate to provide a top 10 list of cities in the Faroe Islands. Instead, I can provide you with a list of the largest settlements based on population:

Suðuroy Island is one of the 18 isles in the wild Faroe Islands. Considered one of the most nature packed islands in the archipelago, visiting Suðuroy Island is always a great choice. The island comes with stunning seaside views, rugged coastlines, and soaring cliffs.

Beautiful...socially adept...culturally fluent...these are just some of the words used to describe the captivating Tvøroyri municipality.
Tvøroyri municipality has around 1,700 residents, and includes the villages of Tvøroyri, Froðba, Trongisvág, Øravíkarlíð and Øravík. This makes the municipality the largest in Suðuroy.

This Place is Beyond Imagination | Suduroy Island in the Faroe Islands - Episode 11
A fun day of exploring the Southern region of Suduroy Island, starting my journey from Trongisvágur. I'll take you on a scenic drive through Lopra village, navigating the mountain road to reach Beinisvørð (Beinisvord). My adventure continues as I head to Akraberg lighthouse, passing through Sumba Village. From there, I'll venture to Eggjarnar and onwards to Vágseiði (Vagseidi) in Vágur village. Additionally, I'll explore Fámjin village, a significant historical site where the first flag of the Faroe Islands was ceremoniously placed.

The coolest prison in the world? Faroe Islands - May 2022
This might be the only prison in the world with grass roof. Mjørkadalur Prison is the only prison in the Faroe Islands. It is situated in the middle of nowhere in a valley with nothing else than a epic view of the Kaldbaksbotnur Fjord.

In august me and a friend visited the Faroe Island. What an awesome place. We were out all day with our cameras. This video is put together from all the video clips taken with a dji pocket 2 and a dji mini3 pro. We had lots of boring light and rain (typical Faroe Island) but still we had a great time.
