Paliguang Ilog sa Trece Martires, Cavite ???? Ocular Visit Only

Do you want to go out, hang out with your troop? ShalaMove Rider and I made an ocular visit to the rivers that are often traveled here in Trece Martires, Cavite for the hangout plan with the WAGAS Lady Riders Cavite after a Charity Rides in Carmona on September 25, 2022.

For today's video we will share three river baths that can only be found here in Trece, Cavite. Just too close to our area to have enough time for buddy bonding.

All the places we visited are simple but the whole troop will surely enjoy it because of their natural beauty and the very cool green surroundings. So I can say that nothing should be pushed or obeyed (itulak - kabigin). Decision where to visit depends on the weather situation and the ages of your fellow troops.

Weather - because when it rains on the day you agreed to hang out, the rivers are greatly affected due to the strong and muddy currents of the water.

Age of the troops - if you have a companion with weak knees, it will be very difficult for them to get down and up to the place.

The places we visited had no entrance fee but there is a PHP10 to PHP20 environmental fee and a PHP300 to PHP500 cottage rental fee. You can bring a tent and food, drinks and more. Swimming, river trekking, barbecuing/grilling and most of all, taking pictures of the instagrammable views around the river are great.

Mayang Falls - Barangay Conchu Trece Martires, Cavite

Napapraning. Bumabalik ang masamang alaala.

Minsan nang akong umalis sa malayong lugar. Malayo sa bahay. Malayo sa pamilya. Malayo sa mga kaibigan. Malayo sa dating buhay, ako'y masaya. Parang kanta ng Red Hot Chili Peppers na Under the Bridge. Ganon ang pakiramdam. Masarap. Malaya. Tulad ng nararamdaman ko ngayon pag wala kang ibang kasama...kundi mga gusali, kalsada, tulay, mga taong di mo kilala.

Maganda yung ganito, pag ika'y nababagot, naiinip, nabibigo, natatakot.

I found THIS street food inside of Old Manila ????????

In today's video we walk from Binondo Philippines over to the Old City area. Upon arrival, we find a local barbecue that was my first time trying this food. After, I try a multilayer ice cream and then head inside of the Fort in Old Manila. After cruising through the fort for a period of time, I was able to find a bunch out about the history in the Old Fort. After that, we went over to the food stands inside of the walled city and there we tried a delicious surprise. Along side that, I drank a 1+ liter melon juice which was incredible refreshing.

Agas-Agas Bridge in Southern Leyte // The TALLEST Bridge in the Philippines

The Agas-Agas Bridge is a prestressed concrete beam bridge on the Pan-Philippine Highway. The ₱1.024-billion bridge was funded partially by the Japan International Cooperation Agency. With a length of about 350 meters (1,150 feet) and a height of 292 feet (89 meters) above ground,[2] the center span of the structure measures 177 meters (581 feet) in length supported by two piers measuring 241 foot (73 meters) and 246 foot (75 meters) from the ground.[3]

The mountainous Agas-Agas section of the Pan-Philippine Highway in Southern Leyte is prone to landslides during heavy rains, much more when a typhoon strikes the province. The bridge was constructed in 2006 to avoid the troublesome section and cut down the driving time for motorists.[4]

Seeing its high tourism potential the Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH) submitted to President Gloria Arroyo the plan to turn the bridge into a haven for enthusiasts of bungee jumping, paramotor, downhill skateboarding, zip-line, rappelling and other extreme sports. On August 9, 2009, the president signed the construction of the bungee jumping platform along the bridge as well as other tourism amenities.

LABO BRIDGE 2 TULAY NA IPANGAKO

LABO BRIDGE 2 SEMI ABANDONED MULTI-MILLION PROJECT..

Project Started 2012

Date of Completion -2018 onwards..

Maybe 2055

2017 PROBE:

Based on records from the DPWH District Engineer’s Office here, the Department of Budget and Management (DBM) released a total of P228,272,989.00, for the three phases of the said bridge.

Phase 1 was allocated P43,560,000.00; Phase 2, P46,543,295.45.00; and Phase 3, P138,260,693.25.

The first phase was awarded to RC Tagala Construction. The notice to proceed was given to them on February 17, 2012. The project was expected to be finished on February 10, 2013.

As of this date, the scope of work covered under the contract for phase 1 has not yet been completed, and worse, the project has already been abandoned, Magpantay pointed out.

It was also learned by the BICOL STANDARD that RC Tagala construction is already delayed by four years, reckoned from the original completion target of February 10, 2013.

RC Tagala has already collected P28,250,250.881 on November 5, 2012.

This is out of the total budgetary allocation of P43,560,000.00, with an accomplishment of only 67%, according to Assistant District Engr. Victorio Corporal.

For phase 2, the contract was awarded to the joint venture of RC Tagala and Bemkar Construction.

It was able to collect P32,717,669.45 on November 25, 2013 with work accomplishment of only 70.5%. It is already delayed by three years, based on the original target date of completion.

Meanwhile, the third phase of the project is 72.22% complete and Saint Gerrard Construction has already collected P70,412,971.07.

CCW volunteers, however, believe that the physical accomplishment is much less than 72.22%, as practically they have just started to mobilize their equipment.

Field investigation by said volunteers says that as of now, they have not even laid down the piles, which are crucial for the bridge construction.

Look what we found in Bohol, Philippines!

???????????????? ???????? Let's help YouTube spread the beauty of the Philippines to as much of the world as possible! Like, comment, and subscribe so that this episode gets maximum reach ????????

We’re about two-thirds of the way through our 21-day tour of Southeast Asia and so far we’ve experienced the beautiful city of Singapore, the world’s oldest Chinatown in Manila, the tribal lagoons of Coron, and the resort-heavy island of Boracay. Today, we’re packing up and heading southeast to experience the natural wonders of Bohol—and to find out why this destination is one of the most popular in the Philippines. But once again, getting there means first flying back up to Manila and then catching the connecting flight back down.

Unlike the tiny island of Boracay that we just left, Bohol is on the bigger side—it’s the 10th largest in the Philippines. It’s actually one big island and 75 minor surrounding islands. We flew into and staying on one of those minor islands—Panglao—just off the southwestern tip of the main island. In fact, it’s so close that you can drive to it using either of two bridges that span the causeway.

The most popular attraction in Bohol is Chocolate Hills: 1,776 limestone hills stretched over 50 square kilometers of the island. They are covered in green grass that turns brown during the dry season, hence the name. Formed by tectonic shifts that pushed them upwards and then smoothed into conical hills by water erosion. These iconic hills are even featured in the 200 Philippine Peso bill.

ABOUT US.

We’re a family with 3 kids, 5 careers, and endless passion for adventure. Two years ago, we decided it was time for Phil's ad agency to abandon the in-person, 5-day workweek. So they 86’d the office and work hours, allowing our own family to start traveling almost constantly. We now work, school, and explore in a different place every week—from our own mountain and beach homes to exotic villas, resorts, and yachts around the world. As we experience and support diverse cultures, we hope to inspire more families to design a life of freedom and adventure.

Because there’s a new American Dream. It’s one that’s void of templated expectations, templated career paths, templated education, templated families, templated homes, and templated lives. Freedom is no longer an American tagline—it’s just the new, global way of life.

Every day that you spend doing something that doesn’t fulfill you to your core, you’re living your life on pause. You’re deferring genuine family time with no guarantee that there will be a tomorrow or a someday. Some people follow that mentality their entire lives. We’ve chosen to never live that way again.

We appreciate you following our journey. The more our channel grows, the more time we can spend traveling to more locations, contributing to these cultures, highlighting local businesses, and sharing inspiring stories from these communities. So please consider liking, commenting, and subscribing so that you can stick with us for the long haul.
