In Rio De Janeiro, the second largest city in Brazil, the beaches like the famous Copacabana or Ipanema are packed with lots of tourists and locals. But not so far from Rio you can find some of the Brazil's best secret paradise beaches. Trindade or Trinity Beach is one of these hidden paradises. Trindade is a small village located in the Municipality of Paraty, in the south-western tip of the federal state of Rio de Janeiro of Brazil, right on the border to São Paulo. Trindade was traditionally a Caiçara fishing village. Today, it is largely made up of craft shops and restaurants catering to tourists.

9 – Baía dos Golfinhos, Praia da Pipa – RN
Praia da Pipa is one of the favorite places from people in the Northeast Region. You can stay there or in Natal, capital of Rio Grande do Norte.
Pipa is a district in the municipality of Tibaú do Sul and has a very charming touch, both in its bustling center and on the beaches with its cinematic cliffs.

8 – Cacimba do Padre, Fernando de Noronha – PE

Jericoacoara beach is not the prettiest of Ceará, but the vibe of the place is so cool that it wins any heart. The daily ritual is to choose a nice place to enjoy the sunset (Duna do Pôr do Sol is not even the only option).
The streets of the village of Jericoacoara are all made of sand, but the place has a unique charm. Delicious restaurants, excellent inns and hotels, and just the right structure standing on the sand.
3 – Praias de Arraial do Cabo
We could even have chosen Praia do Farol (which has already taken over our leadership on the list of the Best Beaches in Rio de Janeiro State), but the truth is that any beach in Arraial is wonderful and easily enters the list of the best beaches in Brazil.
But if we have to choose the best ones, at the top of that list are Praia do Farol, Prainhas do Pontal do Atalaia and Praia do Forno.
2 – Praia de São Miguel dos Milagres

Paraty is a coastal historic town in the state of Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. It was first settled by the Portuguese in 1667. Its old churches, cobbled streets and nearby forests, waterfalls, islands and emerald-green sea attract lots of tourists interested in mixing cultural tourism and more natural settings. It is one of the best cities to visit close to Rio De Janeiro and it is definitely one of the best travel destinations in Brazil.
Paraty grew in the 18th century as a strategically important port for exporting the gold mined in Minas Gerais. When shipments in nearby Rio began to attract the attention and ambition of pirates and privateers from rival European powers, the Portuguese began using Paraty as their safe port for getting their gold to Lisbon. Together with Ouro Preto, the town was part of the Royal Road (Caminho Real or Caminho do Ouro, Gold Road), a route used to export gold in colonial times. It was also an obligatory sleep-over stop for travelers between Rio and São Paulo until the late 1800s, when the inner road was opened. This caused Paraty to be forgotten, stalled in time, away from progress and disfiguration and helped it preserve its old city as it was in the past. In the 1970s, it was rediscovered as a popular tourist destination.
The historic town is compact and can be covered on foot; cars, save for taxis picking up or dropping passengers, are not allowed into the historic city center. The rough boulders of the old city streets would quickly destroy the shocks of most cars anyway.

This video is about our trip around the coast near Rio De Janeiro. On this trip we went to llha Grande, Arraial do Cabo, Paraty and surrounding areas Trindade, Praia do Sono and Praia llha do Pelado. If you travel to Rio De Janeiro make sure to venture out and visit some of these beautiful beaches, they are gorgeous!

About Trindade: Trindade is a village in the Brazilian state of Rio de Janeiro, 30km south of Paraty. It has some of the best beaches in Brazil, and is also surrounded by luxuriant Mata Atlantica rainforest. Whether its surfing, hiking, swimming in natural pools, visiting waterfalls or just relaxing on one of the many beaches, its a great little place to visit. // Praia Cachadaço. A long, quiet beach with only 2 restaurants (and no pumping music). Praia do Meio. A beach with great waves. A Pedra que Engole and Poço Fundo falls. About 20-30 minutes up a fairly well marked trail (a sign where you enter from the river, and another where you need to turn off). The rock that swallows is a fun place to visit; slip in through a small gap (you will NOT get stuck, its bigger than it looks!) under a little gushing waterfall, and you slide gently onto a flat, smooth rock. To your left, a shallow pool of water and plenty of space to keep your head above water. About 3m away, there is a large and obvious exit. Scary to go through first time, but a cool little thrill. Hard to spot the actual entry point, but there will probably be local kids there to show you. Poço fundo, or deep well, is meters away, with a 2.5-3m long natural pool below a falls. Despite the name, you can stand on the flat rocks and keep your head well above water. Perfect place to cool off in the sun. [Source: wikitravel]
