10 Best place to visit in Toppenish United States

Toppenish, WA and Yakima Valley - YouTube

I never heard of Toppenish until our travels brought us virtually to it's doorsteps, which goes to show how little I know or how poor the tourism marketing is. It's a cool little Western town that Cindy and I wouldn't mind returning to for a longer visit. The beautiful murals on the buildings are worth seeing, also we would like to connect with the Yakima Nation and explore the wild horses and buffalo that roam in the near by hills.

Incorporated in 1907, the City of Toppenish is located in Central Washington and is situated about 20 miles southeast of the City of Yakima. The City covers approximately two square miles and has a population of 9,000 residents.

The City of Toppenish has preserved its beginnings as a rugged western town through restoration and beautification efforts that make it a popular tourist attraction today. At the heart of the City and its beautification are over 70 outdoor, historical murals. They tell the story of early development of the City of Toppenish, and its rich history and cultural diversity.

Come enjoy the best of the west in the City of Toppenish -- where the west still lives!

Ten Worst Cities in Washington | The Places You Don't Want to Live

Using metrics like crime, poverty, quality of schools, and overall quality of life, we came up with our list of the ten worst cities in Washington. Washington is a beautiful State, but like every State in America there are cities you should just try to avoid.

My Favorite Places - Ranald MacDonald

Ralph Munro takes us to Washington's smallest state park, the grave site of Ranald MacDonald. This story takes us from the small town of Curlew Washington across the globe to feudal Japan.

Take a walk through Yakima Washington

Let's explore the world through Google Street View.

Today we are visiting Yakima Washington! Encircled by mountains, this looks like a great town to explore or use as a base site for other outdoor activities. Camping and biking and hiking and fishing would be great around here. Quiet streets and plenty of shopping.

Here you can check out where we have been on Google Maps.
