Cuernavaca drone footage and timelapse. Cuernavaca is a beautiful town located 85 kilometers from Mexico City. It is the capital of Mexico’s Morelos state, surrounded by the Tepozteco Mountains south of Mexico City. The colonial city center features the 16th-century Palace of Cortés, former home of Spanish conqueror Hernán Cortés and now a history museum with murals by Mexican artist Diego Rivera. Just southwest is Cuernavaca Cathedral, in a 1500s walled monastery complex with a mural depicting Mexico’s first saint. The city is an important historical destination full of colonial and pre Hispanic treasures.
Things to see in Cuernavaca:
The charming Historical Center of Cuernavaca has the charm of a province, with its colonial buildings, fountains, parks and ravines. In downtown, you can find the Cathedral, the Palacio de Cortés (Cortés Palace) which houses the Museo de Cuauhnahuac (Museum of Cuauhnahuac), the Jardín Borda, the Government Palace, the Jardín Juarez, the Parque Ecológico Chapultepec (Chapultepec ecological park), the Amanalco ravine, the Chapitel del Calvario and the Robert Brady Museum, among other attractions.

Sin duda el carnaval de Tepoztlán es una de las fechas más esperadas, en donde salen los CHINELOS a BRINCAR al ritmo de los sones. Y no podíamos perdernos del carnaval de YAUTEPEC y de TLAYACAPAN que aunque son pueblitos muy cercanos tienen bastantes diferencias en sus comparsas y en los trajes. Fueron muchos días de extraordinarias costumbres de los carnavales de Morelos. Acompáñanos a ver esta bonita tradición de los #chinelos

Natural Water Park LAS ESTACAS in Morelos | MEXICO | Ep. 50
Two hours away from Mexico City, there is a place called Las Estecas in Morelos. It is a natural park as well as a mini-resort. With the experience of cenotes, I was expecting Las Estecas would be a raw and simple place for water activities. In fact, this place is very well built and being taken care of.
Within Las Estecas, there is a crystal clear river for swimming. It is so clear and clean that you can see the bottom. The place also has a swimming pool with Jacuzzi, a children's area, picnic benches, a camping site, a hotel, a spa, a store, etc. The food in their restaurant is so delicious!
The entrance fee is 375 pesos. There is an extra cost if you want to rent a locker (a very big locker!) or a life jacket (water is a little deep).
