Kuthirapanjan Falls is a hypnotizing waterfall arranged close Panagudi town in Tirunelveli region of Tamilnadu. Otherwise called Panagudi Falls, Kuthirapanjan Waterfalls is a regular waterfall shaped over Hanuman River, a tributary to the renowned Thamirabarani River. The stature of the falls is around 150 feet. It is arranged in Western Ghats encompassed by mountain goes and is the core of the Mahendragiri slopes.
The falls can be gotten to from the town of Panagudi and is the fundamental fascination of Panagudi. It is encompassed by a chain of mountains, windmills alongside the mountains offer a beautiful view.

From the end of West Pachaiyaru Dam you need walk inside forest area for 20 to 25 min to reach thenga Uruli waterfall.
If you are in group then only go to this place..
Bus is available from Kalakkad bus stop to Pachaiyaru Dam.
We have parked our bike inside and it will only take only 5 min from their to reach thenga Uruli Waterfall.
It has only one beautiful waterfall... so if you come early no one will be their in waterfall.

Story of suyambulinga swamy:
A milk vendor facing some difficulties on his usual way by the root of a Kadamba tree. When he cut the Kadamba tree root, blood began to flow from the spot. A voice from the sky (Asareeri) directed the milk vendor to construct a temple there. The temple was first built with palm leaves which later grew into a stone construction
The Lord shiva is in the Linga form and he bears the moon and the sun on his head. A five headed snake idol is found behind the Linga idol spreading its hood, which appears like an umbrella for the Lord.
Sun rays fall on the Lord Siva for the whole month of margazhi .

Also known as Panagudi Falls, Kuthirapanjan Waterfalls is a seasonal waterfall formed over Hanuman River, a tributary to the famous Thamirabarani River. The height of the falls is about 150 feet. This is a Dual purpose construction. It Serves as Bridge for the Road Connection between Srivaikuntam Town with otherside of the River(Tiruchendur - Tirunelveli Road) and also a Dam with Two Irrigation Canals. It is one of the Oldest Dam Bridge on Thoothukudi district.
The Anicut was disigned in 1853, by Colonel W.H.Horsley RE and F.S.Shepherd RE(Executive Engineer), This Construction Project Completed from 1869 to 1873.
