Thiers Jetty is where you go to catch most of the boat tours to other islands. It's also the central part of Tourist section of Arcachon. You can watch the sunset from here. There is usually live music in the evening in summertime.
It's a jetty that sticks out into the sea from the land. The beach between this and the other jetty is a beautiful sandy affair, if not a tad small. However this jetty and the beach and the promenade are all very nice to walk around.

Why you Shouldn't visit Nice, France | 5 days in Nice
Here's how our 5 days in Nice France went. A quick travel guide through Nice France and hopefully you find this video fun, informative and leave a like =)
We started our day in old town Nice, France. A vibrant old town with narrow streets and colorful buildings.
From there we made our way to the Port of Nice, with tourist filled restaurants and mega ships. Although the area is nice with building up against the Castle Hill.
As we talked around Castle Hill, we seen the crowds of people and beautiful views of the water. The turquoise blue water off the water was pretty nice.
The next day we had a day trip plan. Probably one of the more obvious ones but a must for your first time in Nice, France. We took the bus up the hill to the medieval town of Eze. Another super busy, touristy spot but since we were there in the early morning of January it wasn't that bad at all. The streets were beautiful and you really can get some pretty incredible pictures here.
From there we went to Monaco. The famous super rich and super small country that's a visit everyone does while in Nice, France. It's actually pretty nice to walk around and overall we enjoyed it. I guess that's another country crossed off our list.
Day 3 started with problems. The city of Nice, France went on strike! So our plans quickly changed and we decided it was best to stay within the city. We tried to find something unique and usually but ultimately failed... although we did find the Russian Orthodox Cathedral in Nice, France. Its a pretty usual site as you don't find a lot of these around here. Other then that our day was pretty uneventful..
Day 4 our time to get out of Nice, France! Another day trip to Antibes, France on the French Riviera. It's known for it's old town and unique streets. We really den't have anything planned for Antibes but we did visit the Palo Picasso Museum. Honestly I'm not sure if its worth visiting but we managed to spend 2 hours here.
Day 5 we quickly walked the streets of Nice, France one last time, said goodbye and got the hell out of there!

With effect from 2006, in response to a letter writing campaign, the name used for the inhabitants was changed by the Puy-de-Dôme General Council to Puydômois; this is the name that has since then been used in all official documents and publications.

5. Pont Jacques Chaban-Delmas
It is a vertical-lift bridge over the Garonne in Bordeaux. As of 2013, it is the longest vertical-lift bridge in Europe.
It is named in honour of Jacques Chaban-Delmas, a former Prime Minister of France and a former mayor of Bordeaux.

It is one of the most recognizable sights of Bordeaux. It was built from 1730 to 1775.
