The biggest airport in Romania and closest to Bucharest is Henri Coanda also known as Otopeni International Airport (OTP) and is located in the Northern part of the capital in the small town of Otopeni. That’s why the short name for the airport is Bucharest Otopeni. Bucharest Otopeni Airport is about 20 km away from the city centre Piata Universitatii and Old Town area. Depending on traffic rush and transportation option, the journey will take 30-60 min. There are 3 ways to get from Bucharest Airport to the city: Getting a taxi or an Uber, train or bus.

The Linden Tree Inn is the only historic inn in Bucharest that has preserved its shape exactly as it was at its origins.

Caru’ cu Bere is the oldest brewery in Bucharest and lies just a few steps away from the Stavropoleos Church. Cărturești Carusel has been pictured all over Instagram at the latest years or so and has been said to be one of the most beautiful bookshops in the world. The Macca Vilacrosse Passage, also located in the old Bucharest, right next to the National Bank.

From bucharest there are daily tour packages depending on your budget as group or private tours. Tour packages mostly include visiting Peles Castle, Bran Castle and Brasov Old Town. It takes 12 hours. Group tours starts from 35€ excluding entrance fees and lunch and private ones are around 250-300€ including entrance fees and lunch. Also you can visit one of the biggest Thermal Spa Complex in Europe called Therme Bucharest, which is 20 kilometers away from Bucharest.

July-August can get pretty hot with 34 - 38 Celsius.

Φράγμα Θέρμης Θεσσαλονίκη από ψηλά - Fragma Thermis Thessaloniki from above (Drone 4K Video)
○ Μία από τις στάσεις που κάνει το νερό του ρέματος του Βαθύλακου, που πηγάζει από τον Χορτιάτη και καταλήγει στον Θερμαικό κόλπο, είναι το Φράγμα Θέρμης. Δημιουργήθηκε το 1993 και αποτελεί το πρώτο φράγμα της περιοχής. Βρίσκεται βορειοανατολικά του οικισμού της Θέρμης και απέχει 15 χλμ. από το κέντρο της Θεσσαλονίκης.
Η μεγευτική τοποθεσία, με μία τεχνιτή λίμνη χωριζόμενη σε δύο μέρη, περικυκλώνεται από πεύκα και κυπαρίσσια, ενώ διαφορετικά είδη πουλιών φωλιάζουν εδώ: κορμοράνοι ερωδειοί, πάπιες, αλλά και οι αμφίβιες χελώνες, τα βατράχια καθώς και τα φίδια. Η περιοχή διαθέτει αναψυκτήριο, παιδική χαρά, γήπεδο ποδοσφαίρου και τένις.
Αποτελεί δημοφιλή προορισμό του νομού Θεσσαλονίκης. ○

Gerakini se nalazi na samom početku Sitonije. Reč je o veoma mirnom mestu koje preporučujemo samo onima koji žele izuzetno miran odmor, ili bazu za obilazak Sitonije. Turistima koji vole življa mesta Gerakini ne bi ispunio očekivanja. Planina Holomontas koja se vidi u daljini predstavlja sjajnu pozadinu vodi Toronskog zaliva, odnosno Egejskog mora.
Gerakini je od Soluna udaljen 80km.
Ovaj gradić je jedno od najstarijih turističkih destinacija na Halkidikiju. Mesto je turistički razvijeno i ovde možete naći neke od većih i luksuznijih hotela na Halkidikiju, ali isto tako i manje apartmane i kuće. Iako se radi o malom mjestu ne morate da brinete oko namirnica jer postoji nekoliko manjih marketa, a u okviru mini tržnog centra restoran brze hrane (giros), nekoliko butika, mini-market, odličnu poslastičarnicu. Manjih marketa ima i u okviru nekih hotela.
Mesto je usko, ali veoma dugačko, oko 3km i uz more postoji šetalište koje nije pretrpano pa na njemu možete uživati u mirnim večernjih šetnjama sa svojom porodicom. Kako biste se uveče zabavili možete posetiti neki od luksuznih hotela u mestu gde možete uživati u bogatim programima koji nisu namenjeni samo gostima hotela, već i posetiocima sa strane.
Gerakini je ušuškan između dva prsta pa nema puno vetra i idealno je za porodice sa manjom decom.

Gerakini is located at the very beginning of Sithonia. It is a very quiet place that we recommend only to those who want an extremely quiet vacation, or a base for visiting Sithonia. For tourists who like lively places, Gerakini would not meet their expectations. Mount Holomontas, which can be seen in the distance, is a great backdrop to the waters of the Gulf of Toron, that is, the Aegean Sea.
Gerakini is 80 km from Thessaloniki.
This small town is one of the oldest tourist destinations in Halkidiki. The place is developed for tourism and here you can find some of the larger and more luxurious hotels in Halkidiki, but also smaller apartments and houses. Although it is a small place, you don't have to worry about groceries because there are several small markets, and within the mini shopping center there is a fast food restaurant (giros), several boutiques, a mini-market, and an excellent pastry shop. There are also smaller markets within some hotels.
The place is narrow, but very long, about 3 km, and there is a promenade by the sea that is not overcrowded, so you can enjoy peaceful evening walks with your family. In order to have fun in the evening, you can visit one of the luxury hotels in the area where you can enjoy rich programs that are not only intended for hotel guests, but also for visitors from outside.
Gerakini is tucked between two fingers so there is not much wind and it is ideal for families with smaller children.
