A short video in my travels to the look out at to tewantin my first visit. It was a great short hike and a great view

Up the Beach to Double Island Point Queensland Australia

Up early to drive 2 1/2 hours to Tewantin to catch the barge across to meet up with a mate of mine, Peter. From there, we drive up the beach to Double Island Point here in Queensland Australia. What an amazing place to visit, white sands, crystal clear waters on a typical sunny Queensland morning. The footage today is from my camera as we travel North and show you some of the sights in the area. Of course I had my drones with me and the footage from them will be in my next video. Hope you enjoy this little vid of our trip up the coast. Take care all :)

Tewantin

Tewantin is located on Queensland's Sunshine Coast only 5 minutes drive from Noosaville. It's a very tranquil and relaxed coastal setting and was the original settlement in the Noosa region and one of its three major centres today.

The Marina Markets are held every Sunday and access to the popular Noosa Ferry is right at your finger tips! Regardless as to whether you're staying in Noosa or Noosaville Accommodation, the Noosa Ferry runs regularly from The Tewantin Marina to the Sheraton Noosa, so forget the car and travel by ferry. Stopping at different collection points along Gympie Terrace, it's simply a great way to travel and parking obviously wont be a problem either. Not forgetting the children, there is a fabulous little water park right on the edge of the Noosa River at Tewantin and the little ones just love it!

Tewantins main street Poinciana Avenue is a thriving little shopping precinct with a fabulous park on the eastern end overlooking the Noosa river. You can visit the Marina markets on a Sunday, go for a browse in the main street, have lunch in the park or even drop in to the Tewantin Noosa RSL, where you can be assured that the friendly staff will make you feel very welcome. Tewantin is just another beautiful part of the Noosa Region.

Thanks for joining me with this weeks addition on the Noosa Northshore Beach Camping Site Tour as well as a quick tour on Teewah Beach in the Sunhine Coast.
This camp ground is a great option for beach camping with easy 2 wheel drive access, or not having to drive on the beach. However, if you have a four wheel drive, you'll be able to drive all the way down the beach to Double Island Point, or even as far as Rainbow Beach. This obviously depend on the tides and conditions.
