Lake Eildon camping best camping spot near lake
Camp by Lake Eildon and enjoy a whole world of watersports in a spectacular setting. Go swimming, canoeing, waterskiing, sailing and fishing in the shadow of the Victorian Alps. Enjoy bushwalking or cycling along a network of trails. You'll share the picture-perfect surroundings with kangaroos, wombats and a huge variety of beautiful birds. The park is also an important home for a number of significant species including large forest owls (Powerful and Barking Owls), bats and the endangered Spotted Tree-frog and Brush-tailed Phascogale.
Take a day trip to Lake Eildon or stay overnight at one of the picturesque campgrounds. Choose from the well-equipped Devils Cove, Candlebark and Lakeside Campgrounds or the more basic Mountaineer, O’Toole Flat, Coopers Point, Taylors Creek or Jerusalem Creek Campground.
Boat, sail, waterski, canoe or kayak on the lake. Bring your own gear or hire from local providers.
Take a walk and stop at Merlo Lookout or trek up to Blowhard Summit for unrivalled views over Lake Eildon and out towards Mount Buller or you could stay on a houseboat for a more sedate holiday.

Horsham is the largest city in the Wimmera wheat growing and sheep grazing district in western Victoria. It is located between Stawell and Dimboola, on the main highway linking Melbourne and Adelaide. Horsham features a large commercial centre that lines much of Firebrace Street and extends into adjoining streets. Located within the town centre are a number of cultural attractions including the Horsham Art Gallery which specialises in Australian photography, and several performing arts venues.
There are several attractive parks and gardens in Horsham such as the Horsham Botanic Gardens, towards the southern end of Firebrace The Botanic Gardens, were established in 1873 and occupy a 16-hectare site along the northern side of the Wimmera River and consist of formal gardens, wetlands, shaded lawns, woodlands, a lake and recreational facilities.
Surrounding Horsham are vast wheat fields, pastoral land, and colourful fields of wildflowers. To the south-east, along the Western Highway, are the Wimmera Lakes which form part of the Wimmera-Mallee irrigation system. Green Lake, on the southern side of the highway, has a picnic area overlooking the lake and includes a boat ramp, jetty and swimming beach. Taylors Lake, a few kilometres north of the highway, is a recreational lake suitable for fishing, boating and swimming.
Horsham is a handy base to explore the region's nearby natural attractions. The northern extremity of the Grampians National Park is located 25 kilometres south-east of Horsham, while the the Little Desert National Park can be accessed via a number of small towns to the west and north-west. Mount Arapiles, less than 35 kilometres west of Horsham via Natimuk, is widely regarded as one of the top rock-climbing areas in Australia and is also a great location for bushwalking and camping.

Horsham Riverside Caravan Park has a wonderful mix of outdoor activities in a range of wide open spaces. With cultural, recreational and leisure activities close to town, they’re perfectly situated to offer quality family accommodation at affordable rates in the Horsham area. They are per friendly too!
We also visit the Giant Koala, which is situated midway between Stawell and Horsham. The Giant Koala is one of Australia’s iconic “Big Things”. You can take a break, and stop for a snack or meal at the restaurant. There is a large range of savouries and gifts inside the Koala.

GREAT WHITE SHARK TASTES OUR BOAT!
A magnificent day at sea with our volunteers who help us collect data on our white shark population to aid our efforts in conserving them!
Seems we bit off more than we could chew! This gorgeous 4.8 meter female, white shark stayed with our boat for over an hour allowing us to take dorsal fin photos for our white shark identification project.
The excitement and adrenaline experienced being so close to such a magnificent animal is something that will stay with you forever!

Taylors Landing Campground - Lincoln National Park, South Australia
The Taylors Landing camping area in the Lincoln National Park has 4 campsites which must be booked. There are drop toilets however no other facilities. There are some picnic tables and fires are permitted. There is a short walk along a boardwalk to the gorgeous beach. Great spot.

Finding the BEST PLACE to SWIM in SYDNEY (Ep.1 - Whiting beach)
Today's adventure:
I'm finally getting back to doing the things I love - Adventuring, exploring new places, wild swimming and making videos!
Although city living and adjusting to my new life style has been EXHAUSTING I feel I'm finally settled in and am ready to get back out there and adventure!
Whiting beach was my first location and I was completely honest on my thoughts.
Feel free to go on google maps, zoom into Sydney and look for any sort of beach/bay that you's want me to add to the list and I'll be sure to sus it out :)
