Bantayan Island is located in Northern Tip of Cebu Province. To get here from Manila (or other point of origin), do the following:
1. Book a flight to Cebu
2. Ride a taxi outside Mactan Airport heading to North Bus Terminal (Fare: 215*)
3. Ride the Bus going to Hagnaya Port (Note: If lucky, there are buses that goes directly to Sta. Fe Port) (Fare: 290*)
4. In Hagnaya Port, ride a ferry going to Sta. Fe (Fare: 300*)
5. From Sta. Fe Port, ride a tricycle to your hotel

EXPLORED the Edge of Cebu Island (Last Northern Municipality)
Daanbantayan is the last municipality in the northern part of Cebu. Located at the tip of Cebu Island, Daanbantayan is a first-class municipality known for its beaches, dive spots and island barangays like Logon (Malapascua) and Kinatarcan. In fact, the town has several sea ports offering trips to its islands and islets. Favorite destination of scuba divers around the globe.
But in today's outing to Daanbantayan, I am not heading beyond Cebu mainland. I will be touring around the town proper. Of course, I will be looking for great landscapes and views I can share to you all. Anything I can find that makes me smile. I will be taking the Curva-Bagay Provincial Road because I want to see that part of the island. I have already seen the opposite part when I went to Kawit (Medellin)-Bakhawan (Daanbantayan) in one of my previous videos.
I will be entering the town via Barangay Bateria. And, I will be cruising until I reach Barangay Poblacion. I will show you the attractions in its town center like the town's municipal hall, plaza, church and other spots nearby. I will also be taking some drone shots of the town. I will also be checking their central public market because I would love to see the bounty from its seas. Hehehe! I love seafood!
After scouring its poblacion, I will be heading to Barangay Maya via Barangay Tapilon to check the New Maya Port. Apart from the port, I am also interested to fly my drone to get a closer look at Bulalaqui Point. It is the part of mainland Cebu considered as the farthest (tip) of Cebu.

Carnaza Island CEBU a Hidden Paradise
Carnaza is an island located on the northern tip most of the Cebu Island. An island right next to Malapascua.

How to get here:
1. Take a bus going to Maya Port (North bus terminal) and tell the bus attendant to drop you off at Tapilon port.
2. There are passenger boats that will take you to the island but the schedules aren't fix due to not enough passengers or bad weather. I suggest to arrive early in Tapilon port. Tavel time from Cebu city is approx. 4 hours.
3. welcome to Carnaza!!!
We stayed at Kuya Jomars place and used his boat as well to pick us up from Tapilon and took the tour around the island and dropping us of back to Tapilon port. (Php. 4,500)
accommodation isn't like a hostel either. You will be sleeping on the floor with banig and the electricity will be available from 6PM to 9:30PM - yes! that is true! this is the best way for you to detached your life from the city and experience island life!

➡ Upon arrival in Tapilon Port, ride a boat going to Carnaza Island. First trip is from 7AM to 10PM. Travel time going to Carnaza will take maximum of 2 hours depending on the sea condition.
Best Island Getaway Experience – Carnaza Island
#Carnaza_Island, is an #island_paradise located off the northern #coast_of_Cebu. It is a 430 acres turtle-shaped island and is surrounded by the Visayan Sea. The island is just like Batanes to the Philippines because of its beautiful scenery. The Island captivates the heart of many people and it is believed to be a one-of-a-kind beach in Cebu. Many people who already experienced the island fell in love with the place because aside from the perfect relaxation it offers, it also gives you a connection with nature. Carnaza Island is the idyllic getaway where you come to forget about the daily grind of a bustling world and simply enjoy life.
How to get there?
Head on to Cebu North Bus Terminal and ride the bus bound for Maya-Bagay or you can simply ask and conductor around the bus terminal and tell them that you’re going to Tapilon Port. Travel time is around 4 hours and fare is ₱212 (airconditioned bus). Take the first trip if you’ll be only doing day tour in Carnaza Island.
Once you arrive at Tapilon Port, ride a boat going to Carnaza Island (₱150 per way). First trip is at 7am-10am but it would actually depend on the condition of the sea. When we got there its low-tide, so the first trip will be at 10am and departs by 1pm. So we rented a pump boat instead (since were only doing a day tour) for ₱7,000 roundtrip it can carry around 25-30 people. Tapilon Port to Carnaza #Island travel time is 2 hours.

Carnaza Eco Park
The Eco Park is where people usually stay in Carnaza. Entrance fee to the Eco Park is P200.Their popular Wood Tents cost P200 which is good for 2 people. They also have an air-conditioned room that would cost P2500-3000 which is good for 5-10 people. Or, you may also bring your own tent, but you must pay P50 to the caretaker. This is a perfect place for having a campfire with your loved ones and a good venue for team buildings with your colleagues since the place is not too expensive. The resort also offers swimming, snorkeling, and nature sightseeing.
LA MANOK ISLAND or Manok-Manok Island of Esperanza, Masbate
This place is somewhat like El Nido’s Snake Island. It is basically a pair of islands connected by a sandbar, and only 30 mins away from Carnaza Island. Just use your charm when looking for a boat going to La Manok. Oftentimes it would cost 1.2 to 2K depending on the size of the boat.
Dakit-Dakit Island or Maria Island
An island characterized by it’s solid rock structure with a whole on the middle. It’s roughly 10-15 mins away from Carnaza and get mesmerized by its rock formations.

Hello guys, thank you for visiting Waterland Films. In this video, we take you to Carnaza Island, we take aerial view of its pristine water and beautiful tourist attractions the Eco Park and the three main spots when you go for its land tour the Twin Beach, San Gorio's Cove and the Skull Cove.
Carnaza Island is in Northern part of Cebu. How to get there, if you are from Cebu City, we take van or bus going to Daanbantayan. We ride boat at Tapilon port to Carnaza Island, the boat trip will take 2 to 2.5 hours to the island at 200 pesos per person. Boat travel once a day only around 10:00AM to 11:00AM or depending on the scheduled trip. This is not a regular schedule, make sure to reserve seats and communicate with the boat personnel if you wish to take ride.

About two hours drive from Cebu city -- well depending on the traffic along the towns you'll be passing through, Kandaya Resort has nice white sand beach with a very nice pool With ocean view rooms, great open space for any activity -- beach volleyball, also a basketball court and tennis court if not mistaken. You can rent out rooms or private villas with your own pool. Plenty of water activities as well, mostly are for rent for a fee but you can borrow a kayak or a paddle board. A must visit place if you have a weekend to spare in Cebu.

The House was opened in 2020 under the supervision of Rev. Fr. Onie Rosaroso, Priest-in-charge, Commission on Family and Life, Archdiocese of Cebu--Far North.
The place has the Stations of the Cross, a cave chapel, a radio station, and the 200 steps of the ladder that must be climbed to reach the highest part where the Holy Cross stands.
It accommodates religious groups, devotees, pilgrims, via crucis, spiritual retreats and even those who want to go sightseeing but he warned that it is forbidden to wear sleeveless and shorts
