Faran Tangi is a beautiful picnic point in the west of Ziarat city. It is located at the distance of around 7 KMs from Ziarat GPO. The visitors must take 30 to 40 minutes hike to reach the close end and water fall of Faran Tangi. The Tangi has very nice views with old juniper trees standing tall around the path. The water of Faran Tangi is extremely cold; however, the place is more pleasant in the months of June-July & August. While in winters its hard to reach the close end due to heavy snowfall yet the place becomes more beautiful as the water falling in drips from the cliff turns into ice and make unique patterns.

Wali Tangi Dam Quetta is a small dam in the Hanna Urak Valley in Balochistan province of Pakistan. It is situated approximately 20 km east of Quetta at an elevation of approximately 8,350 ft.

Wali Tangi Dam is a small dam in the Urak Valley in Balochistan province of Pakistan. It is situated approximately 20 km east of Quetta. I have shared my first travel experience in video.
The Pakistan Army constructed Wali Tangi Dam in the early 1960, with the purpose of supplying clean water to the Urak Valley and Quetta for irrigation and human consumption. The dam stores and utilizes fresh water from melting snows in the surrounding Zarghoon Hills, which are part of the Sulaiman Range.
Trip to this tangi dam is day trip. You need to show your identity to go inside the park. Distance between gate and Wali Tangi is 5 km. I wont say that it was dangerous road that took us to dam. But the road is unpaved and stony.

Sandeman Tangi is located in the North of Ziarat city at a distance of about 4 KMs. To reach Sandeman Tangi one must travel around 1 KM on Ziarat to Quetta road and just a few meters before Bab-e-Ziarat, on the right side the road to this tangi starts. The road to Sandeman Tangi is metalled and any kind of vehicle reaches this picnic point easily. It is among the nearest and well-known picnic points of Ziarat with a steady flow of visitors.
At the end/closing part of the tangi (gorge), there is a dramatic waterfall cascading down the rocks and a natural pond of water which provides a scenic view for the visitors.

Wali Tangi dam is a small dam in the Urak valley in Balochistan. it is situated approximately 20 km east of Quetta at an elevation of approximately 8,350 ft. The dam was constructed by the Pakistan army in the early 1960s to supply clean water to the Urak valley and Quetta for irrigation and human consumption. The dam stores and utilizes fresh water from melting snow in the surrounding Zarghoon hills, which are part of the Sulaiman range.
This place remains cool even in the height of summer heat, so is very popular among visitors during hotter months. The place is ideal for casual day picnickers as well as serious campers and offers different spots suitable for many outdoor activities such as hiking, fly-fishing etc. A dam and many cold water streams along with greener trees give this valley a very picturesque look.
Wali Tangi can be reached through Urak valley from where a winding dirt track leads to this place. A pass is needed to reach the inner parts of the valley which could be obtained from garrison headquarter at Quetta cantonment as well as at the gate at the entrance of the valley.

This vlog was to cover top must visit places in Quetta – Spin Karez, Urak Valley & Wali Tangi Dam. We without any hassle explored the Spin Karez dam & Urak Valley but we had no idea that we will not be allowed to entered to Wali Tangi Dam but just before the entrance check post we saw that Trail leading to the top of the cliff so that was the moment we decided that we will hike and check out the place from the top.
Drone shots of this valley are so amazing I cannot relate this place to any other place in Pakistan.

Sandeman Tangi is village located in the union council of Ziarat District in the Balochistan It is 127 km from Quetta and 4 km from Ziarat. To reach Sandeman Tangi one must travel around 1 KM on Ziarat to Quetta road and just a few meters before Bab-e-Ziarat, on the right side the road to this tangi starts. The road to Sandeman Tangi is metalled and any kind of vehicle reaches this picnic point easily..
