A leopard attacking a provocative photographer in the Maasai Mara National Reserve, Kenya. This photographer, who either chose to ignore the park rules or just was not briefed correctly, risked his life as a leopard tried to grab his foot.
As you can clearly tell, this vicious leopard was not very impressed and would have harmed the photographer. Even through leopard attacking people is rare, this is not to mean that you should play around with an leopard while on a safari. In fact, the best thing a guide should do when any wildlife gets so close to a tourist vehicle is to move away.
The management of Maasai Mara National Reserve, Kenya has already banned the camp and the guides who allowed this photographer to get involved in the would-be unfortunate encounter with a leopard.

7 Things NOT To Do in Kuwait
Kuwait has changed a lot since the gulf war. It is now a wealthy and safe country with a very low crime rate, which makes it an ideal starting point for travelers who want to experience the Muslim world and Arabian hospitality. However, as with any country that is culturally different from our own there are some things NOT to do in Kuwait!
1. Don't Photograph Everything!
You may want to document your trip but be careful when taking photos. Avoid taking photos of, or near infrastructure, oil fields or government buildings as this can lead to detention or arrest, also some shopping centers have prohibited photography too.
2. Don't Underdress
Although Kuwaiti people are diverse and tolerant, they are conservative. Its fine to wear a bikini at the hotel pool, but not at the public beach, avoid short skirts or shorts, low necklines, and sleeveless shirts. Dress conservatively and they'll respect you for it.
3. Don't Refuse An Invite
If you're invited to an Arab home always accept! It's the best way to learn more about their culture. be respectful and grateful. They will probably ask you want you think of their country, comment about the people and the culture but avoid religion and politics, especially if your views are negative, The Emir of Kuwait is venerated, and insulting him verbally or otherwise can be punished by up to 7 years prison time.
4. Don't Hire a Car!
The people of Kuwait are conservative and civilized, until, they get behind a wheel! Kuwaiti drivers are not known for their respect for the highway code or indeed any rules of the road. lack of seat belts, use of mobile phones, running red lights, speeding, and lack of any kind of signaling are all too common occurrences, so the risk of an accident is high. If you can avoid hiring a car, do so!
5. Don't Stare!
Staring at people is considered offensive and rude. whereas normally you may sit in a cafe and watch people walk by, in Kuwait this would be considered offensive, especially if you're staring at the opposite sex.
6. Don't Ask For a Beer!
Alcohol is totally prohibited in Kuwait. It can't be imported, manufactured, or served, not even by permit holders or at a hotel. Asking for a beer in Kuwait is tantamount to asking a rock for some honey.
7. Other Things To Avoid
Avoid public displays of affection, especially if you're homosexual. Homosexual acts are illegal in Kuwait. Avoid using your left hand for eating or shaking hands. Remember right hand clean, left hand dirty. Avoid calling a taxi from the roadside. always book one beforehand and use a reputable company.

13965 - Bliss chronometer
13965 - John Bliss & Co, New York, by Victor Kullberg (b 1824, d 1890 - Britten's states, One of the most brilliant and successful horologists of the 19th century), rare fusee marine chronometer with Kullberg's original unique flat balance system, a modification of the Hardy-Hartnup principle according to Mercer, a design to counteract middle temperature error. The clock was attended to by A C Fox, Bliss company chronometer master and the last great American chronometer maker, the balance cock signed, Bal & Spring made by A C Fox, NY, 1937, referring to an Invar balance and palladium spring made by Fox for the instrument prior to returning the original balance and spring to the clock. Dial diameter is 100mm, chronometer comes in gimbaled box with fine brass inlays, recessed handles and ivory signature plate corresponding to dial, John Bliss & Co 1229 New York, with large fitted outer box as well. The mechanism has finely spotted damascene, fully capped spring detent chronometer escapement, Kullberg's flat bimetallic balance with inverted bimetallic bar, upright adjustable centered weights, helical blued steel HS, and has been provided with circuit trip-mechanism for operation of electrical slave clocks. David H Grace has written a fine monograph on the hidden genius of A C Fox, copyright 2013, to whom we owe a debt of gratitude for the information on this exceptional maker. Arthur C Fox (1867-1973) went to work for John Bliss & Co at 128 Front Street, New York City, from 1891 to 1923, continued working for Bliss from his home in Cooperstown until 1948, and still did contract work for them in his retirement. The present clock was the shop chronometer, which he rated at no charge in 1952 for Bliss. In 1923 he formed a friendship with Paul Mellon Chamberlain, author of the famous It's About Time, who revered his knowledge of American chronometer history, having been so close to many makers and workers. Grace continues with a history of the present chronometer, which was made by Kullberg and bore the same serial number. The chronometer was among Kullberg's finest work, with his own flat-rim balance, made when he was making his name at the Greenwich trials. Bliss purchased the instrument, replaced the Kullberg 1229 dial with the current Bliss 1229 dial, keeping the instrument at the shop until John Lord Bliss' death, after which his wife kept the instrument. Upon her death, the instrument was returned to the shop and used again as standard, updated with Fox's new balance and spring in 1937, the original balance and spring subsequently re-installed by Fox during the war. Grace's excellent work includes the neatly handwritten documentation by Fox of ratings with new balance and original Kullberg balance, when they were switched, and shows the company's original ledger purchase of the Kullberg in 1885. Fox obtained the chronometer at the closing of Bliss in 1956, wherupon it went to V E Van Hoesen, and subsequently to the present collector-consignor.
