Beach 1: Praia de Tambaú
Our first stop is Praia de Tambaú, a beach that is the heart of João Pessoa, the capital of Paraíba. This beach has a long promenade that you can walk or bike on, as well as a variety of bars and restaurants that you can taste the local cuisine in. Fun fact: Praia de Tambaú was the location of the Brazilian TV series Mulheres de Areia in 1993, which became a classic of the genre and portrayed the rivalry and love of twin sisters.
Beach 2: Praia de Coqueirinho

I was very excited to visit this place because some foreigners and other Brazilians bragged about the city being the best in the Northeast of Brazil, for safety and quality of life. The state of Paraíba is known for being an agricultural state with several industries so its economy is good. The street and beaches look very clean due to renovations
It's also famous for having praia de seixas, that's the land area geographically closest to Africa. Part of this video shows this tour. In fact, João Pessoa has several beach tours whereas Natal has more sand dune tours, which I show in another video.
Praia de Tambau and Praia de Cabo branco are the most popular beaches so there are plenty of tourists, but the area didn't have that charm that's seen in Rio. It really seemed mostly calm scene including calm waves even though there were many tourists.
Just two blocks from the beach, the city appears robust and busy with plenty of traffic. There aren't any tall buildings near the beach like you see in Fortaleza but you can say that's a good thing because Fortaleza is more hectic. You also don't see as many people walking as much as those driving.

Este é o Largo Tambaú, localiza-se no final da avenida Presidente Epitácio Pessoa. entre as praias de Cabo Branco e Tambaú.
É conhecido porpularmente como Busto de Tamandaré, por existir no local um monumento em homenagem ao Almirante Jopaquim
Marques Lisboa, patrono da Marinha do Brasil.
Ficamos hospedados no Marina's Flat Cabo Branco, excelência em hospedagem.
A Praia de Tambaú pertence ao bairro de mesmo nome e é reconhecida como uma das melhores praias de João Pessoa.
Nessa região se concentram boa parte dos hotéis e vários bares e restaurantes; o bairro está sempre movimentado.
Seja durante o dia, seja durante à noite.
Tambaú tem uma boa estrutura para quem a visita: no calçadão estão os quiosques; na areia da praia, barraqueiros e
os tradicionais vendedores ambulantes. O visual é belíssimo, muitos coqueiros e vegetação nativa.
No calçadão é possível alugar biciclestas, patins e patinetes para um passeio orla pela ciclovia.
E em frente ao Busto de tamandaré é possível fazer um vôo de Paratrike, sobrevoando as praias de Manaíra, Tambaú e Cabo Branco.
Tem duração média de 20 minutos ao custo de 300 Reais por pessoa.
A feirinha de Tambaú,
Surgida na década de 1980, em frente ao Tambaú Hotel, a Feirinha era conhecida como uma espécie de reduto alternativo,
muito frequentada pelos adeptos de Shows de Rock e MPB, o que deu origem a um dos maiores circuitos de bares da cidade.
Atualmente a Feirinha conta com 45 boxes onde os artesãos comercializam seus produtos e boxes onde são vendidas
comidas típicas do Nordeste, tapiocas recheadas, pratos contendo carne de sol e charque como purê de macaxeira,
baião de dois e lanches em geral como pizzas, hambúrgueres, crepes.
A praça de alimentação também dispõe de uma ampla área de passeio onde acontecem os shows e atividades artísticas e
culturais.
A Feirinha é atualmente uma das principais opções de lazer para visitantes, turistas e moradores da capital.

no ano de 2022 como Ocean Palace Tambaú
O Tambaú Hotel foi inaugurado em 1971, com 12 mil metros quadrados de área construída e possui 173 quartos.
Na praia de Tambaú tem um quiosque aa Apetep (Associação dos Proprietários de Embarcações Turísticas da Paraíba).
Nele é possível adquirir o passaporte e escolher entre vários passeios de náuticos, Buggy, 4x4, conhecer outras praias,
em fim, várias opcões de entretenimento.
Marina´s Flat possui estacionamento grátis e coberto, elevadores, piscina com vista panorâmica das praias de
Cabo branco e Tambaú.
