Barot is a mesmerizingly beautiful village located in the serene valleys of Mandi District in the north Indian state of Himachal Pradesh. The Rising Hub Of Adventure, Barot a village, originally developed in 1920s for Shanan Hydel Project is now a tourist location. Pre Independence, Barot was also on the mule trail connecting Kullu valley to Kangra valley. Also known as, “a trekker’s paradise”,Barot Valley, Himachal Pradesh is easily accessible from major Indian cities such as Delhi and Chandigarh via all means of transport, i.e, road, railway and air. The nearest airport to Barot is Kullu airport while Joginder nagar railway station is the nearest rail connection to this place.

Bathu temples known locally as 'Bathu di ladi' are a cluster of temples in the Kangra district of Himachal Pradesh.These temples were submerged in Maharana Pratap Sagar, a reservoir created by Pong dam in early 1970s. Since then these temples are approachable only in months of May–June when the water level decreases. These temples are approachable by boat from Dhameta and Nagrota Surian and are approachable by road from Jawali District Kangra, Himachal Pradesh
