TALAVERA Exploring One of the Richest Towns in the heart of Nueva Ecija | Philippines | 4K
Talavera is a 1st class municipality in the province of Nueva Ecija, Philippines. According to the PSA Census of Housing and Population for 2020, it has a population of 132,388.
Talavera is part of Cabanatuan conurbation as adjacent urban center in the heart of Nueva Ecija. It is bordered by Cabanatuan, Llanera, Muñoz, Aliaga, General Mamerto Natividad, Santo Domingo and San Jose.

We are driving in Talavera, Nueva Ecija along Maharlika Highway. Talavera is a 1st class municipality in the province of Nueva Ecija, Philippines. According to the PSA Census of 2020, it has a population of 132,388.

D’ Pavilion Farm and Resort, San Leonardo, Nueva Ecija, Philippines
D’ Pavilion Farm and Resort is one of the newest tourist destinations in the province of Nueva Ecija, Philippines located in the middle of rice fields 1.5 Kilometers away from the highway in Barangay Tabuating in the town of San Leonardo, Nueva Ecija. Their amenities of this very relaxing farm resort include, floating huts that are interconnected by foot bridges, a wedding venue, a view deck, fishponds and Mango orchards. D’ Pavilion started their business operations in December 2021. Their swimming pool and accommodations are currently under construction and will be available sometime this year. Aside from dining, the other activities that you will enjoy here are boating, fishing and seasonal fruit picking. Their live band performs nighly from 6:00 p.m. until 11:00 p.m.
Entrance is is 50 Pesos per head and children 4 years old and below are free of charge. D’ Pavilion is open from 10:00 a.m. until 11:00 p.m.

Let's explore once again, the major economic, educational, medical, entertainment, and transportation center in Nueva Ecija and the nearby provinces in the region such as Aurora and Bulacan.
The City of Cabanatuan is a 1st class component city in the province of Nueva Ecija, Philippines. According to the 2020 census, it has a population of 327,325 people, making it the most populous city in Nueva Ecija and the fifth-most populous in Central Luzon.
There are several bus companies that offer direct buses to Cabanatuan City from Manila and other major cities in the Philippines. The travel time is typically around 3-4 hours.
Cabanatuan shall also be serviced by future expressways once completed. These are the North Luzon East Expressway (Quezon City to Cabanatuan), and the partially completed Central Luzon Link Expressway (SCTEX-TPLEX to San Jose City).

Here is my staycation vlog of our 4 day and 3 night stay at the beautiful Farm Ridge by Desmond Farm in Nueva Ecija. Located in Pantabangan, this beautiful farm staycation in Nueva Ecija is one among the few staycation spots in Pantabangan.
Unique staycation with Breathtaking views
Farm Ridge by Desmond Farm Nueva Ecija offers breathtaking view of Pantabangan lake and Sierra Madre. I should say that we were awed by the view and did not expect that there's such a place in Nueva Eciija! Pantabangan was also feautured in Kapuso Mo Jessica Soho (KMJS) for its old sunken town. Too bad we were pressed of time and was unable to visit the lake.
We were also impressed with Farm Ridge by Desmond Farm's accommodations as they are super interesting and unique! We first stayed at Malipayan Cabin for 2 nights and transferred to Amihan Cabin - an A-frame accommodation. Not to mention that there were farmers around the area! Truly a legit farm staycation in Nueva Ecija!

Travel Time
Pantabangan may not be near Manila but the drive going here is totally worth it! If you are coming from Manila, Going to Farm Ridge by Desmond Farm may take you 4 to 5 hour drive depending on traffic and your driving speed of course. :)
Other things worth knowing:
- Checkpoint - We passed by a checkpoint at the end of CLLEX. We were asked to present our vaccination cards. Note that we visited Pantabangan, Nueva Ecija on 2nd week of October 2021.
- No aircon? No worries! - Cabins at Farm Ridge do not have aircon. Note that it's kiinda cold at night in Farm Ridge. Weather at night reminds us of Tagatay City.
- Going to the farm proper - There is a rough road going to the farm fro the main road. If your car is a sedan, there is a designated parking area along the main road. You can arrange a pick-up service from Farm Ridge at a minimal fee. If you have a 4X4, you can directly go to the farm.
- Farm ridge by Desmond farm is pet friendly too!
