The Moselle is a river flowing through France, Luxembourg, and Germany. It is a left tributary of the Rhine, which it joins at Koblenz. A small part of Belgium is also drained by the Moselle through the Sauer and the Our. Its name comes from the Latin Mosella, meaning the Little Meuse (Mosa in Latin). The river gave its name to two French départements: Moselle and Meurthe-et-Moselle. The source of the Moselle is at the western slope of the Ballon d'Alsace in the Vosges mountains. The Moselle flows through the Lorraine region, west of the Vosges. Further downstream, in Germany, the Moselle valley forms the division between the Eifel and Hunsrück mountain regions. Its total length from source to mouth is approximately 546 kilometres (339 mi). The Moselle was celebrated in Mosella, a Latin poem by Ausonius (4th century). In the 20th century, the river and the folklore and local history of the towns along its banks were described by British travel writer Roger Pilkington. In the tale, The Seven Swabians of the Brothers Grimm, the eponymous Swabians drown trying to cross the Moselle. The Moselle valley between Metz and Thionville is an industrial area, with coal mining and steel manufactures. The Moselle valley is famous for its beautiful scenery and the excellent wine produced. Most well-known is the German Mosel wine region, while the Luxembourgish winegrowing region is called Moselle Luxembourgeoise and the French region is called AOC Moselle. Most notable among the wines produced here are Riesling, Elbling, Müller-Thurgau, Kerner, and Auxerrois. The German part of the Moselle is a popular tourist destination. An important asset is today's Moselradweg, the 311-kilometre (193 mi) long cycleway from Metz to Koblenz, which also connects to nine other cycleways. The Moselle has been made navigable for large cargo ships up to 110 metres (360 ft) long from the Rhine in Koblenz up to Neuves-Maisons, south of Nancy. For smaller ships it is connected to other parts of France through the Canal de l'Est and the Canal de la Marne au Rhin. There are locks in Koblenz, Lehmen, Müden, Fankel, Sankt Aldegund, Enkirch, Zeltingen, Wintrich, Detzem, Trier, Grevenmacher, Palzem, Apach, Kœnigsmacker, Thionville, Richemont, Talange, Metz, Ars-sur-Moselle, Pagny-sur-Moselle, Blénod-lès-Pont-à-Mousson, Custines, Pompey, Aingeray, Fontenoy-sur-Moselle, Toul, Villey-le-Sec, and Neuves-Maisons.

The city of Annecy has mainly been nicknamed Venice of the Alps and Rome of the Alps for several centuries. We also sometimes find the nicknames Pearl of the Alps and Blue Lake. The first is high-sounding but certainly deserved.
Come and discover Annecy, one of the most beautiful cities in France! Its picturesque canals, medieval architecture and bridges give it the nickname of the Venice of the Alps. Nestled on the shores of Lake Annecy, at the foot of the mountains, the town benefits from an exceptional natural environment.
Annecy is a city in the Alps located in the south-east of France. This is where Lake Annecy flows into the Thiou. It is renowned for its old town with its cobbled streets, winding canals and pastel-colored houses. Overlooking the city, the medieval castle of Annecy, former residence of the counts of Geneva, houses a museum offering regional objects, such as alpine furniture or religious works, as well as an exhibition on natural history.
Its lake with blue-green waters and its canals that run through the old town have given it the nickname of “Venice of the Alps“. Renowned worldwide for its tourist appeal, the quality of life and its surrounding mountains, Annecy is today a tourist town which has managed to preserve its charm and authenticity to the delight of holidaymakers and which, at the same time, is active and dynamic all year round.
The old town of Annecy with its traboules, alleys, alleys, hidden passages and tangle of houses are characteristic. These different passages, even if they are sometimes dark, delight visitors and are used daily by the inhabitants of Annecy. They make it easy, quick and dry to get from one point to another in the old town.
Built near the rocky outcrop on which the castle of Annecy is built, the old town was first built in wood around the Thiou from the 11th century. Several fires destroyed it over the centuries, the last dating from the 20th century. Stone is gradually replacing wood and very beautiful arches shelter protected passages allowing from the 17th century to circulate without fear of rain. Rue Sainte-Claire is the perfect example.

Jour 9, nous partons de Talange où nous avons passé la nuit.
Nous visitons la ville de Strasbourg. J'ai préparé un parcours pédestre que vous trouverez sur le site peregas.ovh gratuitement. La ballade était sympa et la ville tellement paisible. La cathédrale notre dame est magnifique, vraiment une belle découverte.
Le soir nous prendrons notre maison dans la ville de Nothalten. On vous le recommande car vraiment les photos sur airbnb ne lui rend pas hommage. D'ailleurs à la fin de la vidéo je vous mets un petit clip de la maison que nous avons fait avec grand plaisir ! car les proprios sont vraiment très sympa ! voici le lien sur airbnb si jamais vous passez par là et que vous avez besoin d'un nid douillet :
