CAMPALADO SANDBAR: The Hidden Gem in Pinamungajan, Cebu
Itinerary:
- Ride a Bus from South Bus Terminal going to Pinamungajan, Cebu.
- Drop off point: Pinamungajan Public Beach, Brgy. Tajao
- Rent a boat going to Campalabo Sandbar. The boat rate is Php 150.00- 200.00 per person. However, due to pandemic, you have to rent the whole boat ranging from Php 1, 000.00 - 1, 500.00 for the whole day.
Tips: Best time to visit is during Low Tide. It submerges during High Tide.
IMPORTANTLY: DO NOT LEAVE YOUR TRASH BEHIND. BE A RESPONSIBLE TOURIST.

Pinamungajan Cebu Highlights
History:
The municipality, also known as Pinamungahan, was established in the 1815 under the Spanish colonial government in the country. The municipality got its name from the diligent and hardworking people, working hand-in-hand especially during the agricultural harvest season – Pinamungajan, which originated from the Visayan word pinamuhuan, meant a worker share for his effort during a farm harvest. Over time the Pinamuhuan eventually changed to the current name of the municipality.
The town patroness is Saint Monica, mother of one of the fathers and doctors of the Catholic Church, Saint Augustine of Hippo.[5] However, instead of August 27, Pinamungajan celebrates the memorial of the saint on May 4.[6] In 2008, in response to the call of then governor and now Congresswoman Gwendolyn Garcia for each Cebu town and city to hold a festival as part of local culture and heritage, Pinamungajan began the Pinamuohan Festival in honor of Saint Monica on her memorial.

Kalanggaman was easily the best sandbar that we have been to so far, easily a must visit location if you are in Malapascua. This island has some of the whitest sand that you will find in the Philippines and the ocean has some of the strangest but most beautiful combinations of color. Definitely add it to your bucket list if you are visiting the Philippines

Sharing with you our 2nd video of the Philippines series. I combined Cebu and Bolinao because there wasn't enough footage. We explored Cebu once again (it was Terrence's first time). As you can see, Naomi had so much fun there because it was her first time that she has ever caught a fish and done horseback riding -- and with her grandad to boot! Then we went to Bolinao which is Terrence's hometown. It was nice to see where he grew up in and to bond with his family and relatives. It was also there that our two families have finally met, so it was really special. Please subscribe for more videos. :)

Kings Hideout is the first-ever cafe resto in Pinamungajan, Cebu. Its location is at Perez Lumber Building 2nd floor, Poblacion Pinamungajan, Cebu.
They are best known for their home-made burger. Prices of their burgers range from Php 75- Php 120 all burgers are in a double patty.
The cafe has two floors, the first floor is an airconditioned room while the second floor is a roof deck- a combination of a lounge bar and cafe.
I highly recommend this cafe if you are looking for a delicious yet affordable home-made burger.
