Yosemite Valley.
Yosemite Valley, the crown jewel of Yosemite National Park, is a natural wonder accessible by car through the park's South Entrance or by shuttle. Its breathtaking beauty, framed by iconic granite cliffs like El Capitan and Half Dome, boasts lush meadows, the pristine Merced River, and stunning waterfalls such as Yosemite Falls and Bridalveil Falls.

El Capitan.
Rising more than 3,000 feet from the valley floor, El Capitan is a colossal granite monolith that dominates the Yosemite skyline. This iconic rock formation is a magnet for rock climbers from around the world, who are drawn to its sheer walls and challenging routes

Half Dome.
Often referred to as the symbol of Yosemite, Half Dome is a granite dome that appears as if it were sliced in half, creating a sheer face on one side. The hike to the summit of Half Dome is a strenuous but immensely rewarding experience

Tunnel View.
Tunnel View in Yosemite National Park is a must-visit gem that offers a breathtaking introduction to the park's grandeur. To get there, follow the Wawona Road, and look for the clearly marked Tunnel View turnout

Glacier Point.
For an unparalleled panoramic view of Yosemite Valley, Glacier Point is the place to be. While it's accessible by car during the summer months, it's equally popular as a destination for hikers and photographers.

Yosemite Falls.
Yosemite Falls is the tallest waterfall in North America, and it's a true spectacle of nature. With a combined drop of 2,425 feet, it's divided into three distinct sections: Upper Yosemite Fall, Middle Cascades, and Lower Yosemite Fall.

Mariposa Grove of Giant Sequoias.
A visit to Yosemite wouldn't be complete without encountering its giant sequoias, some of the largest and oldest trees on Earth. Mariposa Grove, located in the southern part of the park, is home to over 500 mature giant sequoias, including the famous Grizzly Giant and California Tunnel Tree

Tioga Pass.
Tioga Pass is a scenic gem within Yosemite National Park, accessible via Highway 120 from the east or west. As you ascend into the High Sierra, you'll be treated to awe-inspiring vistas of alpine meadows, pristine lakes, and rugged peaks.

Bridalveil Fall.
As one of the first waterfalls you encounter upon entering Yosemite Valley, Bridalveil Fall is a captivating sight. Plunging 620 feet from a hanging valley into a lush meadow, it creates a fine mist that often catches the sunlight, producing vivid rainbows

Mist Trail.
If you're seeking a thrilling hiking experience combined with close encounters with powerful waterfalls, the Mist Trail is an absolute must. This trail leads you to two of Yosemite's most famous waterfalls, Vernal Fall and Nevada Fall.

Some Famous Yosemite Quotes:

It is easier to feel than to realize, or in any way explain Yosemite grandeur. The magnitudes of the rocks and trees and streams are so delicately harmonized, they are mostly hidden.
― John Muir

“Yosemite Valley, to me, is always a sunrise, a glitter of green and golden wonder in a vast edifice of stone and space.”
― Ansel Adams

The Best Views Of Yosemite National Park | Glacier Point To Taft Point

#YosemiteNationalPark #GlacierPoint #California

After our hike at Yosemite Falls we decided to go up and do one more hike for the day. We drove up to Glacier Point from the Yosemite Valley Floor which took us about 45 minutes. From there, we looked at the beautiful overlook that is Glacier Point and then decided to get away from the crowds and hike over to Taft Point for another incredible view of the valley floor. Glacier Point and Taft Point are probably two of the most popular view points in ALL of Yosemite National Park.

Be on the look out for our next video where we'll take you on a hike through the mist trail and up to HALF DOME! That's right! We snagged our permits last minute and got so lucky! We never thought we would get the chance to hike the cable route to Half Dome since we thought all the permits were spoken for. Hope to see you guys at that hike as well, but are just happy to have you watching the channel as it is.

10 Minute Tourist: Presidential Sites III, Taft to Ford

The third presidential sites video goes from Taft to Gerald Ford. Only Nixon and Reagan are missing, and the rest of the presidents are still with us. But as always, this is all original video and stills. I would invite you to watch 10 Minute Tourist: Lyndon Johnson, Texas Roots for more presidential videos.
