Asking people how much rent they pay in Malta ? In todays video i met people that are living in Malta and asked them how much rent they pay. Some of the answers shocked me, as poeple who moved to Malta are paying a sharing room for €375 per month. Some other people are paying €950, some €1400 and even €4500 per month. The rent in Malta for accommodation is different according to the size of the apartment and the locality. Needless to say the rent in Malta has gone high up in the past 5 years and many people are not happy about that.

Villa Mystique ,Historical landmark in Swieqi Malta
The Villa Mystique-There’s a mystery surrounding the so-called structure and was the subject of one certain 1960’s artist, Joseph John Scicluna, who attempted to express Maltese identity in a time when mass construction began. all remnants of houses destroyed during the Second World War.
Mystique is far from average. Rather, it is surreal, authentic and original. It is ‘a strange, fantastical structure built for the joy of the owner and defies the rules of architecture. It was built without a design or even a plan.
An interesting and prominent element is the colourful mosaic-like features. The interior is actually decorated with thousands upon thousands of rejected glass shards from the popular local artisan store, Mdina Glass. All the unwanted and unfit pieces for their elaborate creations were collected by Joseph himself and used here.

Exploring Malta: Sliema to St Julians - Ġiljan walking tour 4k ????????
Mid November walking tour, from Sliema Chalet to St Julian's. My first day in Malta, I arrived in late afternoon and decide to take a walk and see what's happening around. Little chilly for Malta standard weather, about 21 Celsius and also working day so not so many people around in Sliema, but in St Julies already looks different. I try to not edit video as much as it is possible, so that is it, about 30 min walk needed for this tour, probably about 45min if you walk little more relaxing :)

The Medieval City of Mdina, Malta (Part 1)
Part 1 of my walk around the Medieval City of Mdina in Malta.
I had an issue with my phone, which abruptly stopped filming three times during my walk, so there are 3 parts to this walk around I'm afraid!
This video starts looking into the moat to the left of the main gate, then enters the city.
The City was founded as Maleth around the 8th Century BC by Phoenician settlers, subsequently occupied by the Romans, Byzantians and Arabs. Its current name was adopted during the Arab occupation.
