Nizhny Novgorod (Russian: Нижний Новгород, is the administrative centre of Nizhny Novgorod Oblast and the Volga Federal District. The city is located at the confluence of the Oka and the Volga rivers in Central Russia, with a population of over 1.2 million residents, up to roughly 1.7 million residents in the urban agglomeration. Nizhny Novgorod is the sixth-largest city in Russia, the second-most populous city on the Volga, as well as the Volga Federal District. It is an important economic, transportation, scientific, educational and cultural center in Russia and the vast Volga-Vyatka economic region, and is the main center of river tourism in Russia. In the historic part of the city there are many universities, theaters, museums and churches.
The city was founded on 4 February 1221 by Prince Yuri II of Vladimir. In 1612, Kuzma Minin and Prince Dmitry Pozharsky organized an army for the liberation of Moscow from the Poles and Lithuanians. In 1817, Nizhny Novgorod became a great trade center of the Russian Empire. In 1896, at a fair, an All-Russia Exhibition was organized. During the Soviet period, the city turned into an important industrial center. In particular, the Gorky Automobile Plant was constructed in this period. Then the city was given the nickname Russian Detroit. After the dissolution of the Soviet Union the city was renamed Nizhny Novgorod once again. In 1985, the Nizhny Novgorod Metro was opened. In 2016, Vladimir Putin opened the new 70th Anniversary of Victory Plant, which is part of the Almaz-Antey Air and Space Defence Corporation.
The Kremlin – the main center of the city – contains the main government agencies of the city and the Volga Federal District. The demonym for a Nizhny Novgorod resident is нижегородец (nizhegorodets) for male or нижегородка (nizhegorodka) for female, rendered in English as Nizhegorodian. Novgorodian is inappropriate; it refers to a resident of Veliky Novgorod, in northwestern Russia. Nizhny Novgorod was one of the host cities of the 2018 FIFA World Cup.
Novgorod Oblast (Russian: Новгоро́дская о́бласть,) is a federal subject of Russia (an oblast). Its administrative center is the city of Veliky Novgorod. Some of the oldest Russian cities, including Veliky Novgorod and Staraya Russa, are located in the oblast. The historic monuments of Veliky Novgorod and surroundings have been declared a UNESCO World Heritage Site.

Hi all! Glad to welcome you to my channel. I want to show respected viewers the real Russia. The theme of this film is my hometown Magnitogorsk located in the Southern Urals between Europe and Asia. Most residential areas are located on the right bank of the Ural River in Europe, and the main industrial area is on the left bank in Asia. Today I would like to talk about the history and architecture of my city. Magnitogorsk is the second largest city in the Chelyabinsk region and is famous for the Magnitogorsk Iron and Steel Works, its population is about 410 thousand people . Often it is called the capital of ferrous metallurgy. The city was founded in 1929 during the era of industrialization carried out in the Soviet Union. The whole history of Magnitogorsk as a major industrial center begins from the left bank of the Ural River, including the history of Magnitogorsk architecture. Features of urban planning and architecture of Magnitogorsk are due to construction and development of the Magnitogorsk Iron and Steel Works as city-forming enterprise.

During this period i Travled few cities like Moscow, St peterburg , Nijhny Novogorod, Saransk. What i hav eseen in Moscow is awesome visit most of the tourist spot like Red Square which is the heart and soul of Moscow and one of the most visited attractions in the city. The famous GUM is a large shopping mall with its facade overlooking Red Square. visit Tretyakov Art Gallery, The Moscow Metro is something that no visitor should miss and i visited and highly recommended to add to your Moscow tour. You can Take a Moscow River Cruise but i didn't do due to short time...

К востоку от города находятся Уральские горы, с запада начинается Восточно-Европейская равнина. В окрестностях Стерлитамака находятся шиханы, являющиеся уникальными геологическими памятниками природы.
Население Стерлитамака: 280 тысяч человек
Год основания: 1766г.
За 22 минуты видео мы посетили такие места, как карьер Шахтау, Шихан Юрактау, экскурсию по историческому парку города, пиццерию «Пиццман и Калачёв», центральный парк культуры и отдыха им Ю. А. Гагарина, столовую администрации города, гостиницу «Оазис», ресторан «Босфор», транспортную аллею, коворкинг СФ БАШГУ, узнали кто такой Александр Замесин и откуда берется сода.
А еще узнали цены в Стерлитамаке на еду и жилье. И съели пару ложек...
