Another early morning to catch the sunrise in the lovely Springfield Lakes area here in QLD. This time I visited the other side to check out Regatta Lake and Discovery Lake. Both lakes have an extensive walking trail around them which makes for a great walk with lots of nature to see. Regatta Lake offers a launch area for kayaks and is a good size lake to explore. Along the walking trails, there are covered areas with electric BBQ's and kids play areas all set in picturesque surroundings. As I was checking out the area, I noticed that some shots that I took could look a lot better at sunset, so, I headed back out there in the late afternoon to catch the sunset as well. All in all, it's a great spot to check out and explore. Please enjoy :)
