Facts About Republic of Tatarstan

The Republic of Tatarstan, or simply Tatarstan, is a republic of Russia located in Eastern Europe. It is a part of the Volga Federal District and its capital and largest city is Kazan, one of the most important cultural centres of Russia.
The republic borders Kirov, Ulyanovsk, Samara, and Orenburg Oblasts, the Mari El, Udmurt, and Chuvash Republics, and the Republic of Bashkortostan. The area of the republic is 68,000 square kilometres (26,000 sq mi). The unofficial Tatarstan motto is Bez Buldırabız! (We can!). As of the 2010 Census, the population of Tatarstan was 3,786,488.
Islam is the most common faith in Tatarstan, as, 53.8% of the estimated 3.8 million population is Muslim while the remaining population is mostly Russian Orthodox Christian and non-religious.
Tatarstan is one of the most economically developed regions of Russia. The republic is highly industrialized and ranks second to Samara Oblast in terms of industrial production per km2.in 2017 Tatarstan's GDP per capita was $10,000, with total GDP at about $35 billion.
There are three UNESCO world heritage sites in Tatarstan—Kazan Kremlin, Bulgarian State Museum-Reserve, and Assumption Cathedral and Monastery of the town-island of Sviyazhsk.
The republic has vast experience in the organization of high-tech production. Tatarstan is home to a number of flagship projects such as Tatneft (listed in the Top 5 of Russian oil companies), chemical and petrochemical holding TAIF, oil refinery TANECO, one of the largest petrochemical companies in Europe Nizhnekamskneftekhim, Russia's largest trucks manufacturer KAMAZ, Kazan Helicopters, Zelenodolsk Shipbuilding Plant named after A. M. Gorky, and many others. A lot of things that make Russia modern and competitive are made in Tatarstan.
Kazan has an official status of Russia's sports capital. The city has almost all the required infrastructure for hosting large-scale events like summer Olympics. Kazan has hosted multiple international sports competitions like the Universiade, the World Aquatics Championship, the FIFA Confederations Cup and the FIFA World Cup.

In this video I show our trip to the Tigrovy village. This is a popular place in the Primorsky Territory with very beautiful wildlife. This village is located 200 kilometers from Vladivostok.
The video turned out to be very funny, even a bit like a comedy. I show the village lifestyle, nature, houses and home improvement.

Что такое Пески?
Пески — это все Советские улицы, Мытнинская и Дегтярная улицы, которые их пересекают, а также Суворовский, Лиговский и Греческий проспекты и несколько других магистралей. Название происходит от песчаной гряды, которая тянулась от Лиговского к Суворовскому, проходила до Невы и далее по Охте. Это не что иное, как берег древнего моря. Из-за своего происхождения территория была самой высокой в городе, от чего её никогда не затапливало. Сегодня от той местности уже ничего не осталось, кроме неофициального названия.
Начал застраиваться во времена основания Петербурга, находится в самом центре города, но до сих пор сохранил некоторую провинциальность, тишину и покой отдельного городка.

This video actually had an entirely different purpose when I picked up the camera that morning. My focus was going to be inspecting the uncomfortable border of Estonia and Russia. In fact, that morning, I was being followed by a suspicious babushka (grandma). While filming across from the Russian border, she suspiciously kept circling around me; inspecting me from different angles and walking past 5 different times. Maybe she wasn’t too keen that I was asking locals about their thoughts on the ongoing conflict; considering how “pro-Russia” this part of Estonia is.
Anyway. As I was leaving the Narva region, I stumbled across something even more fascinating. A huge, forgotten cemetery from the times of Nazi Germany. Not marked on the map or anything, and just across the river from Russia. A stark reminder; among the many other cemeteries in this region, of the Siege of Leningrad (St. Petersburg).

Его дед, Якоб Иоганн, в 1832 году был приглашен череповецким помещиком Львом Гольским в село Кириллово, для того чтобы наладить там производство сыра, аналогичное знаменитому швейцарскому. Яков рано остался без родителей и осиротевшего мальчика взяла на воспитание семья Гольских. Через некоторое время они устроили его на обучение в Вологодскую гимназию.
В Вологде впервые познакомился с фотографией и, решив посвятить ей свою судьбу, оставил учёбу, поступив учеником в фотосалон. В 1875—1877 годах находился на армейской службе, отбывая её писарем в унтер-офицерском звании в Каспийском полку, дислоцировавшимся под Санкт-Петербургом. По завершении службы вернулся в Вологду, где открыл собственное фотодело. Позднее перебрался в Архангельск, где также, подав прошение архангельскому губернатору П. А. Полторацкому и получив 29 декабря 1882 года разрешение на производство фоторабот, открыл свой павильон, который пристроил к собственному дому....
Born in 1855 in the small village of Spasskoye, Vologda district, Vologda province , in a family of immigrants from Switzerland . His grandfather, Jacob Johann, was invited by the Cherepovets landowner Lev Golsky to the village of Kirillovo in 1832 in order to establish cheese production there , similar to the famous Swiss. Yakov was left without parents early and the orphaned boy was taken up by the Golsky family. After a while, they arranged for him to study at the Vologda gymnasium .
In Vologda, he first became acquainted with photography and, having decided to devote his life to it, left his studies, enrolling in a photo studio as a student. In 1875-1877 he was in the army, serving as a clerk in the non-commissioned officer rank in the Caspian regiment stationed near St. Petersburg . Upon completion of the service, he returned to Vologda, where he opened his own photography business. Later he moved to Arkhangelsk, where he also, having submitted a petition to the Arkhangelsk governor PA Poltoratsky and received permission to produce photographs on December 29, 1882, opened his own pavilion, which he added to his own house [
