Lockport Locks | Erie Canal Locks 34 & 35 – Exploring the Locks – Lockport, NY
This adventure brings me to the City of Lockport, NY where two locks along the Erie Canal still operate to this day. I first take a boat ride through the locks to experience them from the inside. I then take a walk around the tops of the locks to see them work up close and personal. I had lots of fun making this one! Do come along!!!

On this episode I met all kinds of interesting people. First is Marianne who was touring across the United Stets and shared with me her experience so far before heading east to Maine. Later that day I met Dennis and Sherry at a local Ace Hardware store in the town of Gasport. They helped me out with such kindness and I will never forget them. Once I reach Middleport, I set up camp next to the Erie Canal for the last time and chat it up with Bill. He was fishing and we had great conversation. The episode ends as I reach Niagara Falls after getting off the trail at Lockport. On the way I interview one of the most special guys I've met on the road.
