Yugyd Lun family park in Sosnogorsk Komi Russia
The Yugyd Lun family park is the main attraction of the city of Sosnogorsk and a tourist attraction of the Komi Republic. The park was presented to the city dwellers in August 2015 for the 60th anniversary of the city. It is located at the intersection of 65 Years of Victory, 95th Anniversary of the Komi Republic and Vostochnaya streets. In the park you can see a cascading waterfall, a fountain, the Tree of Love, wooden sculptures of Komi and Russian folk tales. At the central entrance to the park, you'll see the main symbol of Sosnogorsk - the sculpture of a capercaillie. The park also has a sports complex, some playgrounds for children and a few ponds.

Where Two Northern Russian Rivers meet: the Izhma and the Ukhta
The Izhma (531 km long) and the Ukhta (199 km long) are two rivers in the Republic of Komi in the North-West of Russia. The Izhma is a tributary of the Pechora River and the Ukhta is a tributary if the Izhma. In the video you can see the place where the two rivers meet at the town of Sosnogorsk and the settlement of Ust-Ukhta. We are on the bank where Ust-Ukhta is.

Vorkuta is a coal-mining town, situated in the northeast of European Russia, just north of the Arctic Circle. With it's satellite towns, Vorkuta forms the so-called Vorkuta Ring or Vorkuta Circle, which included such towns as Severny, Tsementnozavodsky, Yur-Shor, Promyshlenny, Vorgashor, Komsomolsky, Mulda, Zapolyarny, Oktyabrsky, Sovetsky and others. Their population was employed in coal mines and other industrial and military facilities. After collapse of the Soviet Union, many mines were closed due to accidents and high operating costs and people began to move to other regions. The towns of Vorkuta Ring became partially or completely abandoned, some were demolished.

The seasons in Switzerland are winter (mid December to mid March), spring (mid March to mid June), summer (mid June to mid September) and fall (mid September to mid December).In general Swiss Winter is cold but average temperature depends on altitude and location of certain region. Thus mountainous areas are coldest with frosty -10°C (14°F). Average temperature of northern plains is between -1 and -4°C (30-25°F), central – about 0°C (32°F) and in warmest southern regions about 4°C (39°F).January is usually the coldest month of the year in Switzerland. Bern, the capital, in the Central Plateau, sees freezing nights, with average temperatures in the -3.9°C (25°F) to 2.8°C (37°F) range. Zurich at 400 meters above sea level is cold between -2.2°C (28°F) and 2.8°C (37°F).Switzerland is not covered in snow all year long, not even in winter. The higher areas, from about 1,500 m, are mostly covered in snow in winter (late December to March). ... There's normally lots of snow in the mountains around that time.
