See all the exciting things you can do in Solvang, CA. Spend a day or several days. This video will show you 5 fun things to do when you visit Solvang for the day. This video takes you to Downtown Solvang, Ostrichland USA, Mission Santa Ines, Quicksilver Ranch – home of the miniature horses and Rideau Vineyard and Winery. Things to do in Solvang is not just visiting downtown Solvang which is wonderful. Everyone enjoys visiting this Danish town that recreate so much Danish culture but there is much more things to do in Solvang than downtown. One of California 21 missions known as Mission Santa Ines is located in Downtown Solvang just off Highway 246 and Mariposa Dr. At time of this video, self-guided tours cost $7. The mission is a functioning Catholic Parish with regular services but the history of this mission is phenomenal. Several miles west on Highway 246 is Ostrichland USA. Home of very large Ostrich and Emus. These birds are fun to watch and fun to visit for the entire family. Admission is about $6 and it only cost $1 to feed the birds. Your kids will love this place, guaranteed. Another fun place to take the kids is Quicksilver Miniature Horse Ranch. The horses are free to view and these miniature horses are fun to watch. Quicksilver Ranch is a breeding ranch for miniature horses. Almost next door to Quicksilver Ranch is Rideau Vineyard and Winery. The Municipal Rose Garden is a nice place to walk around and relax in the middle of San Jose. The park has been in the city for almost 100 years, and it covers five acres. Not only that, but there are almost 200 different kinds of roses to find. If you do decide to go, the best time to go is in May, when the rose blossoms are at their best. After that, go to Park Station Hashery, a relaxed diner, for brunch.

The Museum of Art is one of the best things to do in San Jose if you love art. It has a permanent collection of more than 2,500 pieces of modern and contemporary art. The permanent collections are amazing, and there are also regular seasonal art shows, so there is always something new to see.

Also, don't forget to drop by the Rosicrucian Egyptian Museum. The Rosicrucian Egyptian Museum takes up an entire block and is a very interesting place that takes you back to the time of pharos and pyramids. The Rosicrucian Labyrinth, the temple of the Rosicrucian order, an alchemy exhibit and garden, and a research library are all amazing things to see inside the complex.

⭐ SOLVANG is situated just a short drive from Santa Barbara. The place is known for its Danish style architecture, many wineries and European-style bakeries and shops.
⭐ JOSHUA TREES NATIONAL PARK is located on the crossroad of Mojave and Colorado desert features a surreal geologic landscape and rich cultural history.
⭐ IMPERIAL SAND DUNES or Algodones Dunes (45-mile long) were formed by the sands of an ancient lake. Dunes can reach heights of 300 feet or more, creating an illusion of an endless landscape. The dunes are a popular spot for off-road enthusiasts and over one million people visit the dunes every year.
You can simply drive through the dunes and stop at the Osborne Overlook or plan a camping expedition, either way, visiting the dunes is a one-of-a-kind experience.
