He gained public notice when he joined the Ayub administration and subsequently held cabinet portfolio of railways, health, communications and labour from 1963–69
After participating in the elections held in 1985, he was chosen to form the government on a Pakistan Muslim League's platforom
On 29 May 1988, Prime Minister Junejo was dismissed by President Zia who leveled charges on incompetency and economic stagflation and immediately called for new general elections. After the general elections held in 1988,

Walk For Clean & Green Pakistan, Day- 8 Matiari to Hala Sindh, Walk on Foot Pakistan, this video of aamirztwocents walk for clean and green Pakistan is about 8th day of walk. We started the 8th day of walk from Matiari to Hala Sindh, yesterday we ended up our walk For Clean & Green Pakistan at matiari graveyard, there also we saw a temple, so today going towards bhit shah, and Hala city of Sindh, on the way to hala there was really green farms on both sides, like banana and wheat and mango as well, there was some small villages and masque, we saw few people on the way making ajrak (traditional block printed shawl of sindh, as I have worn), took some rest at a small dhaba (restaurant) on the way and then restart our journey to hala city.
Reached at bhit shah, went to Shrine of Shah Abdul latif Bhitai, Shah Abdul Latif Bhittai was a Sindhi Sufi scholar, mystic, saint, and poet, widely considered to be the greatest Muslim poet of the Sindhi language. He is also known as the poet of Sindh, then start our walk again towards hala, finally reached at hala, went to hala market and saw a very nice traditional work over there as hala is very famous about art, glazed colored pottery (Kaashi), woodwork (Jandi), cloth printing, woven cloth (Sussi) and khaddar made of handmade khaddi, so ended up our walk for clean and green Pakistan at hala, we did about 38 km today, tomorrow will continue our walk For Clean & Green Pakistan. Pariyon jo tar Sindh | Ranikot | Ranifort
Pari jo tar or Pariyon jo tar is clean fresh water body site near Ranikot Fort. It is a Lake-cum pond water body having fishes inside where you can pedicure your feet and enjoy the nature. This pond is surrounded by medium and large size rocks laying like big pebbles arranged by man-made mechanism and rocks are bonded by lush green long grass sleeves which provides absolutely stunning view and relaxing environment. Some water flows from rocks by making 2 to 3 feet waterfalls. It is located in Jamshoro District of Sindh at 90 Kilometers in the North of Hyderabad on Indus Highway N55. 280km away from Karachi.
