Syyskuussa 2022 teimme autolla mielenkiintoisen kuvausreissun Savon radalle. Matka alkoi Kouvolasta, josta edettiin pohjoiseen Mikkelin, Pieksämäen ja Kuopion ohi edelleen Lapinlahdelle ja Iisalmeen. Reissun lopussa poikkesimme myös Siilinjärvi-Viinijärvi -radalla Liperissä ja Outokummussa. Tämä neliosainen videosarja esittelee matkan varrella nähtyjä junia.

Kuopio is a city in Finland and the regional center of Pohjois-Savo, located on the shores of Kallavesi in the province of Pohjois-Savo. The city has a population of about 120,000 and an area of 4,326.35 km², of which 1,085.33 km² are water bodies. [1] The center of Kuopio is mostly located on Kuopionniemi, which protrudes south from Kallavesi, which divides Kallavesi into two almost separate parts. Shen & Jit // Lapland winter elopement wedding under Northern Lights in Finland
This could sound like the script of a romantic film - two young Filipino girls falling in love and celebrating their love far away in the cold and harsh Lapland, where Santa Claus lives, reindeers can be spotted in the forest and Northern Lights can be seen in the sky.
The harsh weather and the fluffy fresh snow created an atmosphere in which the message of pure love is particularly vivid. That's what the story of the lovely couple Shen and Jit became, and we are proud to present the elopement film of their onconditioned lovy story.
While we have captured weddings and love stories in many European countries besides Estonia, including Northern Sweden and the Alps, this lesbian elopement wedding in Finnish Lapland was our first experience capturing the love story of a same-sex couple.
Our associate videographer, Arbo Rae, who captured this Lapland elopement, spends part of his winters in Northern Norway as a tour guide for Northern Lights. So for him, capturing in the snow, cold and dark was just his cup of tea.
