At a distance of 40 km from Jabalpur, Nidan Falls is an amazing waterfall located at Katangi near Jabalpur, Madhya Pradesh. Often referred to as Katangi Waterfall, it is one of the scenic waterfalls in Madhya Pradesh, and among the best places to visit near Jabalpur.
Nidan Falls is an eye-catching waterfall flowing down between the high black rocks which fall from a height of more than 100 feet. This fall is also called Nidan Kund. The black stones have an irregular surface and form step-like apparition which makes the view of the waterfall even more breathtakingly beautiful. Here you get to see two waterfalls. These waterfalls are present in lush green surroundings providing picturesque scenery.
During the monsoon, there will be a rise in the water levels which makes the falls a perfect spot to spend some time with family and friends. Visitors can soothe themselves by taking a plunge in the freshwater of the falls. Also, it is an ideal place for all nature enthusiasts and adventure seekers. Adventure activities like trekking can be taken up by interested visitors to track the entire distance of the falls. However, there is no water during the summer season.
These waterfalls can be located at a distance of 2 km distance from the main road and can be covered by foot.

Nidan fall is situated around 40kms from jabalpur in the village katangi . Is a perfect short rode trip ,the roads are good but having small patches for 4-5 kms in middle of journey .the roads are single lane and u have to drive safely .
Must go in rainy season from july to october 1st week after that the water in thefall is very less .It is a Water fall video named Nidaan situated at Katangi, Jablapur. It is around 40 KM from Jabalpur. Water Fall is very beautiful. It is the best place to visit in monsoon. It takes only half an hour to reach here from Jabalpur. You have to walk around 1hour to 2 KM to reach here.

Yes, its Geographical center of India which is located in Karaundi, Village - Manohargaon,
Tehsil - Dhimer Kheda,
District- KATNI
State - Madhya Pradesh.
Many people think that Center point of India is in Nagpur but I have done my research and I can clearly say that Nagpur is old center of India and Karaundi is new center point of India.
Nagpur was the center at time of BRITISH era but after the Independence of India and separation of Pakistan and Bangladesh the Center point got change and this was discovered as the new Geographical Center Point Of India.
This place was established on 15-12-1987. and recently it got a new makeover to attract more tourists and travelers.
Government has spent 60 crore rupees on this structure but there are so many things which are still not present there.
At least a Security Guard, Cleaning staff and MP Tourism Restaurant or a Hotel is needed.
To reach there you can come by any means.
You can come by flight to Jabalpur and from there you can take a private taxi to reach here.
You can come to Katni by train as all major cities of India is connected to Katni, and from Katni railway station you can take a private taxi to reach here.
You can also come by Bus to Katni and from Katni you can take taxi to go there.
I will suggest to leave early because it is situated very inside in forest.
