Is there a more visually stunning city than Dubrovnik? Nicknamed the Pearl of the Adriatic, this destination is sure to capture your gaze. Between it’s white limestone buildings, bright terracotta rooftops and cobalt blue waters that sparkle under the sunlight you'll be dazzled during your visit. This was the final stop of our travels in Croatia, and what a way to finish of our trip.
We walked up, down, and around the Old Town clocking thousands of steps each day, and in this video we’re going to take you on a tour of of the city and show you 15 things to do in Dubrovnik.
We entered the Old Town through Ploće Gate, which is in the east end of the city strolling along the Old Port. We explored the Old Town on foot visiting Dubrovnik Cathedral, which at one point was even funded by England’s King Richard the Lionheart, after he was saved from a shipwreck on the nearby island of Lokrum.
We wandered over to Gundulić Square where a few vendors had set up for the day to sniff out a few treats. We stopped at Big Onofrio Fountain, which was built in 1438 as part of a water system that supplied water from a spring 12km away.
Then, another attraction unexpectedly caught our attention: The Old Pharmacy at the Franciscan Monastery.
Founded in the year 1317, this in-house pharmacy was set up by Franciscan friars and would go on to service the town as well as people living beyond the walls. There’s still a pharmacy within the monastery today.
We tried to visit the Rector’s Palace, which was built in the late 15th century for the elected rector who governed Dubrovnik, but it was under renovation.
A sightseeing boat tour called the “Panorama Excursion” departed from the Old Port and went out around Lokrum Island.
We decided to eat at Mea Culpa, and ordered one Dalmatian Pizza and one Seafood Pizza.
It was time for the main attraction: walking around Dubrovnik’s Old City walls. Admission is 150 kuna for a 2 kilometres walk that takes about 1 hour to complete.
The first set of walls were built in the 9th century, and then in the 14th century these were strengthened with forts along the circumference. This attraction is worth the price tag. From here you can admire the all of the old town, gaze at the shimmering waters of the Adriatic, and look out to the neighbouring Lokrum.
After that quick ice cream break, we walked over to Fort Lovrijenac, also known as St. Lawrence Fortress.
Perched on a cliff 37 meters above the sea, this fortress dominates sea and land entrances from the western side of the city.
We made a stop at Buza Bar, which is great place for drinks anytime of day, but especially so around sunset. Gradac Park, was also used as one of the Game of Thrones filming locations, so you may recognize it from the Purple Wedding.

????Тляратинский район – один из самых больших и самых высоких районов Горного Дагестана
????Это один из самых удалённых районов республики. Расстояние от Махачкалы – 213 км, доехать на машине можно за 5 часов
????Тляратинский район расположен вдоль главного водораздельного Кавказского хребта. Это отличает природу Тляратинского высокогорья от природы большинства районов Дагестана. Горы Кавказа здесь не платообразные, а конусные
????Это единственный район республики, который граничит сразу с 2-умя государствами: с Азербайджаном и Грузией
????Название района произошло от слова Тлярата, что переводится у воды (или у реки). И действительно, Тляратинский район полон ручьёв, родников и рек. Главная река района – Джурмут, основной приток Аварского Койсу
????Это один из самых лесных в Дагестане. Леса занимают треть района!
????Значительная часть красот района находится в приграничной зоне, в том числе райцентр. Поэтому попасть туда можно, лишь заранее оформив пропуск в приграничную зону
????Всего на территории Тляратинского района 89 населённых пунктов. 76 из них расположены выше 1500 м над уровнем моря, а 33 села – на высоте более 2000 м. Многие Тляратинские села Дагестана имеют удивительное расположение
????Экономика Тляратинского района – это, в основном, сельское хозяйство. 80% составляют личные хозяйства. Местные жители выращивают огороды прямо на склонах гор и занимаются животноводством.
????Самая большая проблема района – это природные катаклизмы. Во время сильных ливней по всему району реки выходят из берегов, размывает и засыпает дороги, обрываются провода и связь с внешним миром (поэтому район частенько попадает в новости Дагестана). А зимой дороги и провода страдают из-за лавин
????Почти половину района занимает Тляратинский заказник — охраняемая территория вокруг реки Джурмуи и её притоков (бассейн реки Аварское Койсу)
Особенно меня впечатлила долина реки Баараор! (даже звучит круто!) Вдоль неё расположен один из лучших туристических маршрутов в Дагестане. Тут невероятно красивая природа!

Beaches of Sardinia Italy. Today we feel beachy! At quarantine cocktail hour yesterday some of you told us that you like to ear about our travel. For that reason we decided to do a show today about our favorite beaches in Sardinia. Sardinia is the second biggest island in the Med and it has some of the most spectacular beaches and waters I've ever seen. Some of the beaches in Sardinia can only be reached by boat but it is really worth it! The water is crystal clear. Some of the beaches have bright white sand others pink or red.

We are two Canadians currently living in Italy under locked down for coronavirus, and vlogging what it's like living in Italy under locked down and quarantined during the COVID-19 Coronavirus pandemic. We will show you how it is our daily life during lock down. Life requires some changes to adapt to the new Government regulations. We now need a declaration form every time we leave the house, and we have to have a good reason to do so. We are still allowed to go grocery shopping but only one person per household can go at anytime. Changes like that make life under lock down quite challenging but also very interesting. We are trying to keep our live as easy as possible and we want to share our story with you.

In March 2017, Rick and Andrea (confessed Travel Addicts) started a Facebook Group called Travel Addicts as a way to share their travel photos and videos not just with their own respective friend's lists – but with the world. Part of the reason was for bragging rights (I mean, that’s kind of the point of sharing photos, right?), but also to help answer questions to others about the destinations they have visited.
After inviting some of our friends and family, it grew and grew – and as of June 2019, the group has grown to over 200,000 members! One reason for our success, we believe, is that we have done our best to ensure only high-quality photos and videos get shared, all while limiting the use of commercial content.

Diretti verso Milano, prendiamo l'aereo che da Cagliari ci porta a Bergamo.
Il meteo quasi perfetto ci permette di ammirare buona parte della Sardegna centrale/orientale, dalla Barbagia di Seulo, al Supramonte di Oliena, al Golfo di Orosei, Olbia e Tavolara, l'arcipelago della Maddalena, fino ad osservare le montagne innevate della Corsica e parte del nord Italia.
Nel montaggio del video mi sono divertito ad identificare alcuni dei paesi e delle zone riprese, sarde, corse e del nord Italia con delle scritte in sovrimpressione. Spero di non aver fatto errori!
