Senlis, 2000 ans d'Architecture et d'Histoire, au cœur du Parc Naturel Régional Oise Pays de France.
A 40 km au nord de Paris, Senlis préserve en ses remparts un patrimoine architectural exceptionnel : Muraille gallo-romaine (IIIe s.), vestiges du château royal, cathédrale Notre-Dame (XIIe-XVIe s.), caves gothiques, abbaye Saint-Vincent, la chapelle Saint-Frambourg, l'église Saint-Pierre, les fortifications (XIIIe-XVIe s.) et ruelles médiévales, les hôtels particuliers (XVIIe-XVIIIe s.)...
Son secteur sauvegardé de 42 ha attire particulièrement les cinéastes. De nombreux films ont ainsi été tournés dans la ville dont « Séraphine ».

The Medieval Royal Castle of the Kings of France | Château de Senlis
Greetings! Senlis is a city in Northern France with a beautiful and well-known cathedral. What is less well-known is the castle ruin that lies within the city walls. It was once a castle owned by the French kings, though it has seen better days and is now completely in ruins. It is in this exact historical place that Hugh Capet was chosen as the new King of France, when the Carolingian dynasty had ended. A real game of Thrones so to speak! A pivotal moment in the medieval history of Europe and France. It has some beautiful decorative elements and is built next to the ancient Roman ramparts, which is awesome to see. Next to the castle we discover also what remains of a priory. Join us as we explore the secrets of this royal Palace on our trip. Thanks a lot for watching!

Chantilly & Senlis, week-end dans l'Oise
A la recherche d'une escapade en France pour un week-end ?
pourquoi ne pas s'échapper à quelques minutes au Nord de Paris pour prendre une dose de nature et de culture ?
Au début de l'été nous avons découvert le département de l'Oise et plus précisément la région de Chantilly & de Senlis le temps d'un week-end gourmand et princier.
Au programme de notre séjour : l'abbaye royale de Chaalis, la cité médiévale de Senlis, le château et la forêt de Chantilly, les étangs de Commelles, le parc Jean-Jacques Rousseau à Ermenonville, les ruines gallo-romaines de Champlieu et bien sûr on ne pouvait pas aller à Chantilly sans prendre un cours pour apprendre à faire la VRAIE Chantilly !
