Les ponts sur l'Armançon, le donjon, la collégiale Notre Dame, la promenade autour des remparts avec sa vue imprenable sur les alentours, les maisons à pans de bois, les rives aménagées de l'Armançon, et une vue imprenable sur l'ensemble de la ville depuis les ponts, constituent autant de points de vue à ne manquer sous aucun prétexte.

‘부르고뉴 프랑쉬 콩테 Bourgogne-Franche-Comté‘ 지역의 ‘코트도르 Côte-d' Or‘에 위치한 ‘스뮈헝 녹수와 Semur-en-Auxois’는 분홍색 화강암 언덕 위에 중세 요새의 모습을 간직한 마을이다.
13세기부터 건설이 시작된 성벽은 14세기 중반 영국과의 ‘백년 전쟁’ 당시 ‘필립 르 볼 Philippe le Bold’ 공작이 절벽에 ‘동종 Donjon’을 건설하여 요새화한다.
부르고뉴 공작의 영지와 프랑스 국왕의 국경에 위치한 이 마을은 1478년 ‘루이 11세’의 프랑스 왕실군대가 도시를 침공해 점령했을 때 값비싼 대가를 치룬다.
프랑스 내부의 신.구교의 ‘종교 전쟁’ 동안 구교도의 편에서 전쟁을 치룬다. 오랫동안의 공성전을 거쳐 1589년 3월에 개신교가 함락시키는데, 난공불락의 요새 때문에 고생하였던 ‘앙리 4세 Henri IV’는 이 난공불락의 요새를 반대파가 이용할 것을 염려하여 1602년 성벽을 해체시키라고 명령한다.
19세기 중엽부터 ‘으젠 비올레 르 뒥 Eugène Viollet-le-Duc‘이 수행한 프랑스 전국 문화재 복원사업의 혜택으로 ‘스뮈흐 엉 녹수와 Semur-en-Auxois’에서는 ’노트르담 성당 La collégiale Notre-Dame‘과 성벽을 복원한 것이 지금 현재의 모습이다.

부르고뉴 지방의 후기고딕 건축물로 유명한 이 성당은 1225년에 건설을 시작하여 증축을 거듭하다가 ‘비올레 르 뒥 Viollet-le-Duc’의 복원으로 완성된 모습이다.
반지의 경주 La course de la bague
1566년 오순절 시장이 열리는 기간에 Semur-en-Auxois에서 달리기 경주가 있었는데, 말경주로 바뀌고 1651년부터는 우승자에게 금반지를 준다. 오늘날에도 매년 5월 31일에 열리는데 직선으로 겨우 2,112미터를 달리는 ‘반지의 경주 La course de la bague’는 2분 정도에 끝!!!

‘Semur-en-Auxois’, located in ‘Côte-d’Or’ in the ‘Bourgogne-Franche-Comté’ region, is a village that preserves the appearance of a medieval fortress on a pink granite hill.
The walls, which began construction in the 13th century, were fortified by Duke Philippe le Bold in the mid-14th century during the ‘Hundred Years’ War’ with England by building ‘Donjon’ on the cliff.
This village, located on the border of the Duke of Burgundy's domain and the King of France, paid a high price when the French royal army of Louis XI invaded and occupied the city in 1478.
