Flying Ethiopian Airlines - How They Became the Biggest in Africa?
I flew on an Ethiopian Airlines Boeing 787 from Vienna to Addis Ababa. Find out Ethiopian Airlines latest onboard product in both Business Class and Economy class. The flight was overnight and took 5 hours and 45 minutes. Before landing, a beautiful sunrise greeted all passengers. Join me for landing inside the cockpit of Boeing 787.
After landing, I toured the passenger terminal and up to 10,000 passengers in the morning transit at Addis Ababa Bole Airport making it the busiest hub in Africa.
I was given a tour of the Ethiopian Airlines Maintenance, Repair and Overhaul (MRO) facility where a Boeing 767 is undergoing cargo conversion. Then I went inside an Ethiopian A350 passenger freighter full of cargo in the cabin. Last, I went on a day tour in Addis Ababa city.

This place seems more alien than Earth-like. The Danakil Depression in Ethiopia is one of the hottest and harshest environments on Earth. Not only being the hottest place on the planet it is also one of the most remote, which is BELOW the sea level.
Also, a 3.2 million years old fossil of our human ancestor - Lucy was also found here.

Abala to Dallol Road Trip | Ethiopia Vlog 10
On 9th June 2019, we finally headed for the hottest place in the world - Dallol. We started our trip early in the morning from Abala and reached Dallol around 9 am. Even during 9 am, the temperature in Dallol was above 40 degrees Celcius. This video is the road trip from Abala to Dallol. The altitude changes from above 1000 metres to below minus 30 metres in the course of the road trip. Dallol lies in the Afar region of Ethiopia and it's one of the most remote places on the planet.

this video is about my lifetime trip to the Danakil Depression in the Afar Region. It is one of Ethiopia and Africa's most dangerous but out-of-earth places. The bubbling volcano Erta Ale lights up the sky, sulphurous bumps of yellow twist into otherworldly shapes at Dallol and mirages of camels cross the Salt Lake Asale. Lying 119m below sea level, the Danakil Depression is Earth's hottest and most inhospitable place.
