Mangi-Tungi: Stairways to Heaven ⛰️????️
Located near Tahrabad about 125 km from Nashik. It is Digambara Jaina Tirtha. Known as Siddhakshetra where legendary beings and 99 crore Jaina munis are believed to have achieved Nirvana.
These hills are the highest in Nashik district. The statue of Ahimsa is 108 feet tall. The statue depicts the first Jain Tirthankara, Rishabhanatha.
It will take around 3-4 hours to reach the top and visit all the temples with ample breaks along the way. After the first 1500 steps, you reach the base of the Statue of Ahimsa.

It is the site of the highest fort in the Sahyadri mountains and the second highest peak at 1,567 metres (5,141 ft) after Kalsubai in Maharashtra and 32nd highest peak in Western Ghats. This was one of the celebrated forts of the Maratha Empire. The money acquired after raiding Surat was brought to this fort first on its way to the Maratha capital forts.
