I was wondering if i have beaches or waterfall nearby so i can travel without spending lot of money on travelling. The Sassenage has an outstandingly amazing surroundings and its closed to Grenoble.I would recommend this place this to every nature lover.

(EN) Lac de Monteynard-Avignonet is an artificial water reservoir for the Électricité de France power station on the Drac River. It belongs to the department of Isère. It is bounded by the canyons of the Drac and Ebron.
The lake was created in 1961, when the 145-meter-high dam was built. The lake is 10 kilometers long, and in some places up to 300 meters wide.
This lake is often windy and wavy. It is considered to be one of the best places for windsurfing and kitesurfing in Europe. It is also an important site for fishing, as it has a great variety of fish species. Swimming in the lake is permitted.
The lake is bordered by the following municipalities: Avignonet, Cognet, Marcieu, Mayres-Savel, Monteynard, La Motte-Saint-Martin, Roissard, Saint-Arey, Sinard, Treffort.
In 2007 two simple suspension bridges were built across the Drac and Ebron. The bridges are 220 and 180 meters long, respectively, and used 1200 meters of cable.[2][3] Depending on the level of the water in the lake, the Drac bridge is 45—85 meters high above the lake. Construction of the bridges was achieved with the help of helicopters.
The bridge design was based on traditional simple suspension bridges used in the Andes (see Inca rope bridge) and Himalayas to cross deep gorges from rim to rim. Locally, the Drac and Ebron bridges are known as passerelles himalayennes (French, Himalayan footbridges). Like some traditional bridges of this type, the Drac and Ebron bridges are stabilized with cables from below the deck.
The bridges allow hiking and biking from Matheysine to Trièves, on a circuit of walking journey and adventure of 30 km route around the lake.

10 ans du Théâtre en Rond de Sassenage
Samedi 29 septembre, Sassenage célébrait le double anniversaire du Théâtre en Rond : les 60 ans de sa construction et les 10 ans de sa réouverture suite à l’incendie qui l’avait entièrement ravagé en 2004. Un anniversaire festif et gourmand partagé en musique, danse et concours de gâteaux !

I drove out from Geneva on a drizzly morning to Annecy. It was a pleasant journey listening to my new favorite French songs. I got to the market and started my tour of the town. Exploring the waterfront, I strolled through a nice park and gazed out across the lake. For lunch I enjoyed galette and local ciders. The canal and surroundings were quaint with traditional shops and cafés spilling out onto cobblestone streets. Atop the hill, I visited the château fort and museum. After this excursion, I made my way to Grenoble. That night, I partied and went on a bar crawl. I'm a little hazy as to what transpired; nonetheless, it was great fun. The next day, I retraced my steps through the old town and took the téléférique up to the top of the mountain. And then a downpour struck and the wind destroyed my umbrella! Anyway, I liked Grenoble, and maybe someday I'll return. Make sure to hit the like and subscribe button to follow my journey through France. Next stop, Provence. Thanks all!

دخول الشلال مجاني ويوجد موقف سيارات خاص بالمكان مجاني
الوقت المقدر للوصول لأعلى طبقة من الشلال حوالي 40 دقيقة إلى ساعة
المكان غير مزدحم في العادة
يوجد بعض الكراسي والطاولات وألعاب أطفال
بجانب موقف السيارات يوجد مطاعم وكفتيريات ومخبز
الوصول لأعلى الشلال يتطلب بعض الجهد
المكان غير مناسب لعربات الأطفال والكراسي المتحركة
لايوجد حمامات بالمكان !

This waterfall is located in France at the following address:
Cascade du Furon

The waterfall is situated in a mountainous area within a public park amidst the forest. It spans across multiple layers, extending for over a kilometer, showcasing incredibly beautiful formations and stunning as well as some dangerous slopes.
Entrance to the waterfall is free, and there's a designated parking area for the site, also free of charge.
The estimated time to reach the top layer of the waterfall is around 40 minutes to an hour.
The location is usually not crowded.
There are some chairs, tables, and children's play equipment available.
Next to the parking area, you'll find restaurants, cafes, and a bakery.
Reaching the top of the waterfall requires some effort.
The place is not suitable for strollers and wheelchairs.
There are no restroom facilities on-site!
Additionally, within the park near the waterfall, there is the oldest cave in France estimated to be around 80 million years old!! It goes to a depth of approximately 600 meters.

Entry into the cave costs 8 euros.
A tour inside the cave takes about 40 minutes.
Entrance to the cave is not available year-round.

FRANCE ALPS & BEACHES
Second week on our journey. Unfortunately we cannot find parking space in ANNACY LAKE last week so we have to carry on the road down to GRENOBLE it is very big city. Then searched on PARK4NIGHT until we get to SASSENAGE it is beautiful place
surrounded by mountains and creeks.
there is a FREE AIRE outside motorway. Very pleased to stay here for a couple of nights.
Weather get cooler, it was time to hunting for sunshine just before it rains.
